3rd person POV

It was lunch time, which meant that the whole cafeteria was bustling with noise. The table with the villains was utterly silent though. Everyone reading the note in front of Aster. Whoever that girl was, she meant business with them. Deadly business. "I just don't get it!" Comet complained again. "What does she have against us? I mean yeah, our parents probably are responsible for whatever type of crappy life she's having, but what does that have to do with wanting to kill us?" Comet rubbed her eyes like she was trying to wake up from a nightmare.

"Like I said, she only threw the note to Aster, so we should be safe!" Meteor said cheerily. "Right?" his voice took a timid turn after Comet and all the others threw him an evil eye.

"Thanks for sticking by my side in this Mete'!" Aster said sarcastically.

"I could have sworn that he was leaving Aster out to dry! Was I mistaken about that?" A voice came from the bushes near the groups table. It was followed by a persistent shushing.

"Who the hell is spying on us?" Universal growled, quickly coming over to the shrubbery, most possibly planted by the one and only Groot. With one swipe of her hand a red laser beam came shooting out of her gold gloves. Comet was just now realizing that Universal was wearing her dad's gloves, fully charged and ready to do damage. The red light almost looked like the red lightsaber from Star Wars. One of Universal's and my favorite movies. Comet thought smugly. It was the only thing you could watch on The Forgotten Planet. At least the only interesting thing. Everything else was all Marvel heroes and shit. Sure there was some other shows, but Star Wars was a favorite.

A shout of 'run!' brought Comet back to the current situation. Uni had destroyed the bush and revealed none other then the 4 Guardian kids themselves. All of them crouched down behind the bushes ready to eavesdrop.

"No one is running anywhere." Aster said, blocking the heroes from going anywhere. They all stood up with sheepish grins on their faces. PJ even made a big show of dusting off his shirt. Or jersey thing. Whatever it was he was wearing.

"Why were you spying on us?" Korey asked threateningly. Gemma pointed at PJ, PJ pointed at Devin, Devin pointed at Bomb, and Bomb pointed at Gemma.

"It was all their idea!" They all shouted at once. Universal rolled her eyes at their antics.

"Okay! Before I kill one of you!" Aster said fiercely. "Tell me why you are spying on us!" The Guardian kids shank back thinking that Aster would follow through with his threat. Comet knew full well that he would.

"It's obvious isn't it?" PJ said bravely. He stepped right up in front of Aster and met his eyes with a death glare of his own. "You guys are the kids of the worst villains the universe ever knew. Do ya really think we're just gonna let ya wander around the school without being constantly watched?"

Gemma did a face-palm. Devin let out an exasperated sigh. Bomb rubbed her head and groaned like she had a headache. "They weren't supposed to know that!" All three of them snarled at PJ. He gulped and gave a sheepish smile in their direction.

"Well, at least now we know that Meteor isn't the only stone headed idiot in the galaxy." Comet whispered to Universal. Uni covered her short laugh with her hand before going back into serious mode.

"Since we have the whole 'You guys don't trust us and we want you dead' thing out of the way, let's get down to business!" She spoke gruffly, approaching the heroes with ease. Universal shoved the threatening note from that girl into Gemma's face. "Who wants Aster dead so bad that they would give him this?"

Gemma tentively took the paper and read it, all the others crowding around to look at it. Finally Gemma handed it back and all of them said, "Definitely Quail."
