Bomb's POV

Bomb stretched her arms and flexed her muscles as she felt the sunlight wash down her. The security camera had cleared their names but they were on thin ice with Novell and their parents. Not telling where they had been the night of the robbery was a bad move but they weren't dumb! If they could get off scott free then so be it!

"I missed the sunshine!" PJ shouted as he flung himself onto the grass. Gemma kicked his ribs.

"You'd think that a few days in prison would do nothing." Gemma groaned. PJ rolled his eyes and held his side.

"Considering our parents records I doubt cell lockup syndrome is in our genes." Devin mentioned as he pulled PJ off the ground.

"That's not a thing Devin!" Gemma shouted. Devin laughed.

Let them squabble. Bomb thought idly. I'll find out who framed us and why.

The heroes arrived on campus to find it crowded with students. All of them whispering about the returning kids.

"I think they did it."

"They're the Guardians children!"

"So what?"

"Good kids act bad too."

"They're incapable of doing anything remotely evil!"

"Since when?"

"Yeah! They did it and are gonna get away with it just because their parents are heroes!"

Bomb gulped. The others stiffened as everyone turned slowly to look at them.

"Race you to our dorms." PJ whispered.

(Time Jump 3 minutes)

After fighting through the mob Gemma and Bomb were back in their room. Collapsing on her bed, Bomb sighed in exhaustion. "What a morning." She mumbled.

"I'll say!" A voice startled both heroes up.

"Who's there!" They both shouted. Gemma pulled her long stick weapon and Bomb freed a gun from her pocket.

"Relax!" The vent opened and out crawled Universal and Comet. "It's just us." Comet raised her hands tiredly. Slowly weapons were lowered and Gemma and Bomb were staring at the villains.

"What are you going here?" Gemma asked. Universal shrugged.

"Trying to find a shortcut to the kitchen." Comet said sarcastically. When no one laughed she sighed. "Tough crowd."

Bomb drew her gun again. "Get out of our room." She hissed. Comet ducked toward the door. Universal backed up slightly.

"Calm down Bomb." Gemma motioned and Bomb lowered her weapon once more.

"Why is that gun so big?" Universal asked, still slinking backwards.

Bomb grinned. "Cause I built it." Comet and Universal shuffled nervously, both seemed ready to bolt.

"Why are you really in here?" Gemma asked, hands on her hips.

Comet pulled some papers from behind her back and showed them to the girls. "We believe that Quail and Rand have lied about their GPA's to get into sports."
