New Beginnings.

Chapter Fourteen.

"Do we need to talk?" I asked with wide eyes.

"Well yeah I know I said I would wait to talk but I just cant wait anymore I'm not a patient guy".

"Yeah you never were patient" I said with a laugh.

"Same here so that's probably how we work well" I say with a slight smirk.

"Well, I do want to make this official because when I saw you walk up that hallway all by yourself I could never of pictured you being alone because I would be with you...and that's if you want the same because I understand completely if you don't...".

"Quit you're rambling I would love to but I have a few issues, first off you've had a lot of girlfriends I'm not saying you're a player but you're a lot more experienced than me and I don't really want that to make you take a step back...." I say vulnerably.

"Stop it you I've thought of this for a while now and do you think I don't know that I've been you're best friend for two years for gods sake!" He said with a slight laugh.

"And I may have had a lot of girlfriends , It might send the wrong message but it's not like that and I know I am 16 but no I didn't take it there with any of them surprisingly a dude to say this but it never felt right or it could of been because I wasn't ready and don't worry you over thinker! , I would never suggest that idea until I knew we were stable enough and you were ready".

"Oh okay that makes me feel a lot better".

I suddenly feel the urge to jump on him and wrap my legs around his legs because why not its quite fun. His reaction was shocked but amused. I buried my face into his hoodie and of course it smelt soooo good like wow. When I finally looked up at him he started to speak again.

"Right when you quit acting like a monkey, what are you thinking and feeling?".

"I like being a monkey it's fun and I feel completely excited but of course nervous and just trying to imagine us" I smile at the last part.

"Oh really so you want there to be an us as well?" he said smirking.

"Of course!" I say while my face goes bright pink and I do a little hair flick.

He then put's me down. Then he kisses my forehead while bending down because I'm a midget.

"I better go now , I'll see you around Bella" he said while winking.

"Bye Riles, we're not going to that couple that calls each other 'babe' that makes me cringe".

"Okay honey" he said jokingly with a laugh.

I just gave him an eye roll then I walked him too the door.

"See you at school tomorrow!".

"You shall midget!".

My eyes narrowed.

All he did was laugh though.

When I closed the door my mum came over to me.

"Care to explain what that was?".

"Oh I didn't know you were here" I say while my face going the brightest pink.

"I know I'm rather evil like that Arabella".

"So you're with Riley now?".

"Maybe" I say while blushing.

"Okay he's seems like a nice guy but don't do anything I wouldn't do".

"Okay mother".

I quickly walked back upstairs to my bedroom and the butterflies were still there.

I kept it too myself for now anyways people were going to find out sooner or later it is high school after all. That night I slept so well because my dreams might of involved him not going to lie what's the point in it!

Next day.

I walk into the hall way with my hair all nicely curled and in my school uniform sadly. I then see Riley with his leg leaning on the wall and his hand in his pockets looking very chill.

He then spots me and he has the biggest grin on his face ever , I walk over to him and he pulls me into a hug because I'm the PDA type but a hug I can deal with. When we came out of the hug we just stood at the wall standing in front of each other while he tentatively played with my hair. At this point I knew people were staring and jumping to conclusions but I wasn't that bothered I was very happy. From the corner of my eye I could see my friends , Callie , Phoebe and Poppy looking our way.

I then got a poke to my shoulder.

"So what's going on here then?" Poppy says.

"We'll..." I say before Riley cuts me off.

"We're an item guys!" he said with a big proud grin.

"You heard the guy!" I say with a laugh and a blush in my cheeks.

"Oooo finally!" Callie says.

"Yeah you took you're time" Phoebe added in.

They all agreed with that statement don't blame them it take a while.

"Well maybe the best things in life are worth waiting for" Riley said.

I cringed a little not going to lie.

Callie then asked if I could talk to her in private and of course I said yes.

"What's up Callie?".

"Well I haven't told you something".

"There's a guy and we click but I don't what we are because I'm too scared to have the talk about labelling what we are...help?"

"Talk to him? , worst thing he can do is say you're friends and if that's the case then there's plenty more dudes".

"Okay but that's a scary thought in my mind." she said while biting her nail.

"You'll be fine , I'm not that good at talking to guys but some how I have a boyfriend".

"True , Miss love bird!".

Then the bell rings and I go to class with Riley.
