I Promised Forever

Chapter 17

Jordan's P.O.V.

Everyone stared at the shut bedroom door where Sam had led her grandma and sister. We all heard Sam shouting and then a minute later, Ashley left the house. Soon after her grandma walked out with tears running down her cheeks.

Sam walked in the room and put a smile on her face. Everyone started talking to Liam, who was on my lap, as Sam approached me. Her smile was fake and I could easily see the anger and sadness in her eyes. I smiled warmly at Sam and pressed a light kiss to her lips and she smiled her real smile.

The welcome home party was soon over so everyone took off, heading to their homes. All except Peyton, who was spending the night with us.

"Hey sis. Whatcha wanna do?" I asked her.

Liam walked up to us at that point and rubbed his eyes. He was really tired.

"Liam, are you tired honey?"

He shook his head. "No. Me stay up wif you."

I smiled at him.

"Let's watch Spider-Man and all cuddle on the couch with Peyton. Okay?" I suggested. They both nodded.

I went to my room to get the movie and Sam. I grabbed the movie quickly and poked Sam's probably sleeping body.

"What?" She asked in her sleepy voice.

"C'mon. It's cuddle time."

She got up and we all headed to the living room.

Soon, we were all cuddled up with a bowl of popcorn in the middle. I was pressed up against Sam's chest and her arm was wrapped around my waist and her face was buried in my back comfortably. Liam was cuddled up to my chest with his face buried in my neck and Peyton was cuddling up to Liam. Liam and Sam were fast asleep before it started and Peyton's eyes closed about halfway through so I shut the TV off and got some sleep too.

Sam's P.O.V.

I woke up snuggled up to Jordan. I looked up to see Peyton and Jordan sound asleep and Liam just waking up.

"Hey Liam lets make breakfast for them." I whispered. He nodded happily and I picked him up, taking him to the kitchen. I grabbed the stuff for pancakes and bacon and started cooking.

The food was finished when Peyton walked in. She had a grin on her face.

"I smell yummy food." She stated.

"Li, wake up momma." I instructed.

He ran off and after a few minutes I saw Jordan walk in with our son.

"FOOD!" She yelled happily.

We all laughed and then ate our breakfast.

"So, I'm taking today off but I'm going to go job hunting tomorrow. Okay?" I said to Jordan. She just nodded.

Tomorrow I was gonna look for some opening acting parts. I had been wanting to act and sing since I was about ten. I was really excited.

But that was tomorrow. Today is a family day at our home with our son who has massively improved his health.
