I Promised Forever

Chapter 15

Jordan's P.O.V.

I woke up, well rested and happy. I was wrapped tightly in Sam's arms, my face in her neck. I could hear her strong and steady heartbeat and her even breathing. I was totally relaxed.

I decided that I should get up and take a shower and then make some breakfast.

Just as I started making pancakes, I heard Sam walk into the kitchen.

"Food." She said.

I turned around and looked at her. Her blue eyes were brighter today and small smile played on her lips. She walked forward and kissed me, smiling.

"Sam, go shower and I promise all the food will be ready by the time you're done."

She walked off to get in the shower and came back fifteen minutes later, looking clean and fresh.

"After this, we'll head back to the hospital. Your mom won't wanna be there much longer and I miss out little guy."

I nodded in agreement.

We ate quickly and grabbed some stuff to take with us and then headed to the hospital.

Sam's P.O.V.

Jordan and I walked in hand-in-hand and Liam smiled up at us. It was about 10 A.M. so I wasn't surprised to see him awake. But, I was surprised to see Peyton instead of Trish.

"Hey Squirt! Whatcha doing here?" I asked.

"I heard from mom this morning and I rushed here. It's Saturday luckily so mom won't be mad. It's so terrible though." She explained.

"I know, trust me." Jordan replied.

Peyton stood up and hugged her sister and I tightly.

"Pey! I'm hungry." Liam whined adorably.

Peyton smiled and walked off to get the little guy some food.

"Hi little buddy! How are you feeling?" I asked Liam.

He shrugged. "Ok."

I nodded and sat down, pulling Jordan on to my lap.

Suddenly, I felt Jordan sit up straight and a grin formed on her face.

"Sam, stay here. I wanna go see something and grab Peyton. Love you both!" She said while rushing out the door.

"Where's momma going?" Liam asked.

"I have no idea."

*1 hour later*

Jordan walked in the door with a weird box in her hands that she was holding very carefully. Peyton was really excited behind her.

"Liam, we got a little surprise for you! The staff said it has to stay in here though, okay?" Jordan said.

Liam nodded.

Jordan pulled an adorable little kitten from the box. It was orange and looked like a tiny tiger.

"Oh my gosh, Jordan! It's so cute!" I said.

She smiled. "I know."

Liam started petting the kitten and playing with it. He giggled when it meowed.

I smiled and just watched my son be happy in all this craziness.
