When we entered in the room, there were only Michael and Mary, on the couch, talking.

-          Aye mate, where’s Calum? Luke said.

-          He left a while ago, he said he wanted to let us alone. Said Michael, smiling and putting his arm around Mary’s shoulders.

Ashton was going crazy. I felt him tense up beside me so I took his hand to calm him down. As soon as I took his hand, both Mary and Luke’s head snapped toward us. I gently smile to Luke so he could understand. Maryssa stood up and walked toward me.

-          Can I talk to you for a sec.? She said, rushing on every words.

-          Of course! I released Ashton’s hand and turned around to leave to room.

Maryssa brought me to another room, about five meters from the former one.

-          What’s up? I said.

I clearly knew what was wrong. She liked Ashton! I could see it when they first met.

-          So, what’s up between you and the drummer? She said, eying me closely

-          The drummer has a name, first, and it’s Ashton. There is ABSOLUTELY nothing between us. I said, insisting on the ‘absolutely’.

-          Clearly. That’s why you were both holding hands.

-          He was pissed okay? The whole situation was driving him crazy.

As soon as I said that, I regretted it. I promised Ash he could trust me with that secret.

-          Wait, what, why? Why was he pissed? He said, her mouth almost touching the floor, her eyes as big as a tennis ball.

-          I promised, Mary, I promised he could trust me.

-          No way, so you’re going to keep a secret from me because you promised that dumbass you wouldn’t tell me? She said.

She was clearly angry. But for knowing her since middle school, I could tell she wasn’t angry because I kept something from her, she was angry because she couldn’t stand seeing me closer to a boy she liked.

-          Listen, bella, I said, playing with a piece of her hair. If you really like that Ashton guy, back off from Michael. But that’s all I’m telling you!

-          Wait, what? With the… ARG! I hate you loser! She said, punching me playfully.

We both started to laugh hard before hearing someone cough behind us.
