We all sat in the fifth row, to see all the boys on stage. Luke, Calum and Michael took place behind their microphone and Ashton sat behind his drum set.
- Hello Montreal! Yelled Michael in his microphone.
The five girls yelled as hard as we could. I actually felt like a groupie. Luke took his microphone off of its support.
- Hey girls. We’re going to start off with our first single: Heartbreak girl.
The guys started the first riffs of guitar and Calum started singing.
«You call me up, it’s like a broken record, saying that your heart hurts, that you never get over him getting over you». Calum’s voice was so sweet and soft. Luke moved toward his microphone and let off of his guitar. He put his hands on the micro and started to sing «And when the phone call finally ends, so say thanks for being a friend, and we’re going in circles again and again». I looked at Luke as he smiled to me. I felt someone punching me gently beside me so I turned to see Mak smiling at me.
- So, you and Luke? She said raising her eyebrows.
- Well, I don’t know what’s up between us but we clearly like each other. I said smiling at her.
- I’m so happy to hear that! Luke needs a great girl and you seem really nice.
- Thank you Mak! How long have you been dating Cal?
- A month or so. She said.
- Oh! That’s recent! How have you guys met?
- Just like you, at a show! I was going to see One Direction in New York and I met Calum behind the stadium, at the end of the show.
- Oh how cute!
The music stopped and we both snapped our head toward the stage again. Calum took the microphone and started to talk to us.
- This next song is called «Beside You». It’s for you, Mak. He said, giving a wink to her.
- Can I dedicate this song to a special girl too? Said Luke to Calum.
- Course, mate.
- Callie, this one’s for you. Listen closely, I mean it… his voice trailed on the last three words.
He looked down at his feet, a sad look on his face, before giving the go to Ash. Ashton started off with a bit of drums before the others started to jam along with him.

I felt a hand on my hand and looked at Mak beside me. A tear was tracing down her face as she turned to me. I put my arm around her shoulder and pulled her to me. I shed a tear too, thinking about Luke leaving me tomorrow morning.
- Are you touring with them? I said to Makaila.
- No, I was here because it was sort of near my place but I’m going back home in 2 days.
- Oh, where do you live?
- I live in Trois-Rivieres. She said.
- Really? How come you met him in New York?
- I was on a trip. Where do you live?
- In Quebec City! I said, my eyes wide open.

And the shining as we fade into the night» sang all the boys in unison. I felt Mak tensed up on me so I patted her arm.
- I’m here for you, Mak! We won’t be that far. If there’s anything, you can call me. I said, giving her my number.
