When I passed the curtains, I saw the boys still on the stage. I could also see the girls behind the crowd. I stood there for a couple of seconds when Liam turned around and saw me.
- Hey Call! What are you doing here? He said.
- Do you think I can correct myself and say 3 words to Zayn?
- Of course! Wait.
I went back to the group and whispered something to Zayn. He turned back, followed by all the boys. I could see the fans stretching their neck to see what was going on. Zayn looked pissed but came to me anyway.
- What? He said emotionlessly.
- I have something to tell you.
- What?
- I want you.
His head snapped up of surprise.
- What? He said. I started to wonder if he knew any other words than ‘what’.
- I want you. I figured I had to choose between you and Luke and I made my choice.
His eyes lit up as he took my hand. He brought me to the center of the stage.
- Guys, this is Callie. The girl I talked to you about. He said in his microphone.
I was embarrassed but I found it cute. The crowd was cheering and so did the boys. Harry put his arm around my neck as he whispered «Welcome to the craziest gang you’ll ever know». I hugged each and every boys and quitted the stage to join the girls. Mak looked at me with a huge bold question mark on her face.
- I’ll have to talk to you, Mak.
- I know. She said, eying me.
The sound check ended and we all headed to the backstage. Some girls tried to stop us to take pictures but only a few had one. The body guards didn’t want us to stay too long there. Backstage, the boys decided to meet up with the 5 seconds of summer members. Zayn looked at me and asked me if I wanted to walk around the stadium with him, since I didn’t want to be with Zayn and Luke at the same time.
- You make me so happy, Callie. I never thought I could ever find a girl like you.
- You know what? I always wanted to get to know you. I’ve always had a massive crush on you and my dream has finally come true. But the best part of it is that I don’t even feel like I’m with THE Zayn Malik. I feel like I’m with the guy of my dream but just like a normal guy. Do you get it? He nodded. I have to let you know, I had to choose. Mak told me to make a choice as soon as I could so I talked to Luke and explained him the situation. He totally understood and told me to go with you. Hopefully I won’t regret it… I said, teasing him.
- Wow, you’re awesome, Call. I can’t believe you came back to me. I have to be honest, I’ve never fallen for a girl like I fell for you today. I know it’s quick but I can’t help it. I’m leaving tomorrow and I really didn’t want to let a wonderful girl like you pass by.
He stopped and turned me so I was facing him. He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me toward him. He slowly kissed my lips as I put my arms on his shoulders.
