P.O.V. Callie

As they ended the sound check, the boys sat on the edge of the stage with the boys from One Direction. Zayn kept on staring at me, which made me feel uncomfortable. I’ve always been attracted to bad boys who looked edgy and sort of dangerous. Zayn was all that. The way he was looking at me, I could tell he had something in his mind. Hopefully, he was sitting on the other end of the stage, so Luke couldn’t see him. Paul entered the place and told the boys to get ready for the VIPs to arrive. Zayn, Niall, Louis, Liam and Harry made their way to the lodges while Luke, Calum, Ashton and Michael came in the audience with us.

-          Since it’s Call, Mary, Em and Mak’s first time in VIP, I’ll explain the whole thing to you. Said Ashton. There will be about 200 girls filling the first rows in a couple of minutes. Usually, we go backstage because we can’t stay here, or we hang around the stadium. You, girls, you can stay in the audience if you want to see the boys and have a blast while watching the groupies. After, we all meet up for lunch and after that, it’s show time.

-          Sounds great! I’d like to watch the boys a bit but I’ll meet you soon backstage. I said.

-          Same for me! I’ll follow Call! Said Mak, intertwining our arms.

-          I’ll watch the boys a bit, like one or two songs. Said Mary.

-          Alright! Said Calum. See you soon mi amor. He said, kissing Makaila’s forehead.

-          Don’t take too long, beautiful, I already miss you. Said Luke, taking my hand.

He hugged me thigh as he kissed my cheek. We both faced the group when we saw Michael holding hands with Mary. He brushed his lips on her and released her hand. The boys went backstage as we went back to the audience, filled with screaming girls. Em, Mak and El were already well-known but nobody knew Mary and me. When we appeared, the girls screamed as loud as they could. Paul stood in front of the girls so they weren’t jumping on us to get pictures or autographs. We sat a couple of rows behind, close enough to see the boys well but far enough to not be too disturbed by the fans. It’s funny how I called them fans but I would have acted the exact same way. I recognized one girl, Cassie Blackwell. We used to go to the same school. She turned back to us and stared.

-          Hi! Callie? She said, confused.

-          Hey, Cass! What’s up? I didn’t know you were coming!

-          And I didn’t know you were… I mean, why are you with those girls?

-          Uh, it’s a long story, Cassie.

-          I have time!

I used to hate her, back in middle school. She was always the one who gossiped about everything. I clearly knew she asked this just to spread rumors or things like that.

-          I met a friend and he brought us here. I said, not giving any more info.

-          Oh, cool! Which friend?

-          Luke, you probably don’t know him.

-          Stop it, Callie. Don’t try to make us believe you’re Luke Hemmings’ friend.

-          She is! Now stop it or I’ll ask these men to kick you out! Said Makaila, as Emily and Eleanor nodded beside.

Just as she turned around, the boys made their way to the front of the stage. The girls were screaming so loud, it made me laugh. One even stopped breathing… too much, is told to myself. I leaned forward to see Mary, who was between Em and El. She had her eyes stuck on the guys, or should I say, on Harry. She couldn’t help it, she had a massive crush on him. But I guess it wasn’t a real crush because she would have talked to him before. It was more like a celebrity crush. She knew she would probably never have a thing with him. The guys stopped their song, which made me come back to reality.

-          Hello, how are you guys? Said Harry

The girls screamed loud enough to make me go deaf.

-          I can’t hear you, HOW ARE YOU? Said Louis.

Seriously? SERIOUSLY? You can’t hear them? Now I can’t hear because of you, Louis. Arh! I hated when singers did that. I mean, we already scream the loudest we can when we see you so why you ask for more?
