P.O.V. Mary

I snapped a picture of Callie and the song «They Don’t Know About Us» started. Someone was calling me. I looked at the ID to see Michael.

-          Hello? I said, pretending not to know who he was.

-          Hey, love.

-          BABYYYY! How are you?

-          I’m fine. I just miss my girl so much…

-          I miss you too. When are you coming back again?

-          In 3 weeks! I can’t wait. He said, sounding excited.

-          Neither do I! What are you up to?

-          We have the sound check in a couple of minutes. I thought I could call you before. You?

-          We’re at the HMV now but we thought we could pass the time by shopping a bit. We start school tomorrow.

-           Oh, you must be excited. His voice changed as I heard noises in the background.

-          Is everything okay?

-          Yeah it is. I have to go. Bye! He said, rushing on every words, before hanging up.

What was wrong with him? I quickly dialed Ashton’s number.

-          Helllllllloo? He said, as usual, as soon as he picked up his phone.

-          ASHTON IRWIN! Tell me what’s wrong with Michael RIGHT NOW. I said, yelling in my phone

I turned around to see Mak and Call staring at me, eyes and mouth wide open. The whole store was looking at me.

-          Wait, what? I’m not with Michael, sorry.

-          Where are you? And where is he?

-          I’m with Luke and Cal in the lodge and Michael is out somewhere.

Michael was alone, far away from me and he hung up when talking to me? I wasn’t the kind of girl who was jealous but I felt like, at this moment, I should get worried. After of couple of seconds where I didn’t say anything, Ash spoke again.

-          What’s wrong, Mary?

-          I called me but hung up for no reason… And I heard voices in the background. I was just worried and hoped for god’s sake that the voices belonged to you guys.

-          You shouldn’t worry, Mary. It was probably fans.

-          Maybe you’re right. Anyway, I’ll leave you with the boys! Call you later!

Ashton and I were closer than ever. I considered him as my best guy friend. Whenever I had troubles with Michael, I would call him.

I turned back to Mak and Call and made a sign to tell her to get out of there.
