Chapter 3

Kam, Melvin, Zeno, Ari & key mm

Kamden

When I entered the gym Melvin was putting up shots with a couple other boys from the team.

"Wassup Kam?" One of them shouted.

"You good Kam?" My homie Chris asked noticing the crazed look in my eyes. I simply nodded my head making my way towards Melvin.

He was laughing like everything was all good. This nigga just didn't know.

I was so pissed all I could see was red. Looking at Aria reminded me of my mama all over again. I'd be damned if this nigga thought he was gone get away with that shit.

I felt someone pull my arm.

"Kam please. Just think about this." Aria pleased.

I chuckled stopping in the center of the gym.

"Look at yo damn face Ari! The shit not cool and you trying to stop me only show how dumb you really are behind this nigga. Imma handle it since you couldn't NOW MOVE!" I spat.

She started to cry again and Nobi grabbed her pulling her off the court.

Turning around I noticed Melvin in mid shot. I blocked the ball slamming it down catching him and everybody else off guard.

I grabbed him by his neck slamming him into the wall while his feet dangled above the floor.

"Bro wat the fuck Kam!"

"You think you a man putting yo hands on women?"

He laughed. "I slapped her a couple times. You know she got a smart mouth."

I startled to laugh too. Slapping my leg and stomping my foot.

"Yea man you see-"

"No the fuck I don't see." I punched his ass letting him drop.

"Get up bitch! You wanna fight somebody fight me. I been waiting for this to be honest." I removed my shirt stripping out my pants leaving me in nothing but my basketball shorts.

Melvin got up holding his now bloody nose.

"What happened to minding yo business Kam? Come here Ari baby you kno I mean it right?" He taunted.

"Aria I swear to god if you move I'll kill you myself!" I growled. She never moved.

"You think somebody scared of you Kamden? I'll whoop yo ass like I did her." He had tested me enough.

I charged him causing him to stumble back. I wailed on him punching him repeatedly. Before I knew it I blacked out.

I was now sitting in the principles office awaiting my suspension.

"Kamden because this is your 1st offense on campus as a junior lord knows the previous years you gave us hell. I won't remove you from the basketball team. However, Mr.Cambel and his parents do want to press charges. He was rushed to the hospital for severe injuries."

I really ain't give a damn he deserved worst.

"I ain't kill him?"

"No he just has a minor concussion."

I laughed shaking my head. "Damn. I was tryna kill him."

"Now Mr.Johnson let's not -"

"With all do respect Mrs.Abdhule you seen Aria face right? Ok so you tell me what you woulda did if that was your daughter walking around with a black eye and a busted up cheek because her boyfriend can't keep his hands to hisself." She didn't respond.
