Zenobia

"Ari did you make sure they got everything out of here before you go?"

"Yea Jared double checked like five times." I nodded.

We were all helping her leave the hospital after she'd been here for what felt like forever.

Kam and Jared finally walked back in to help place her into the wheel chair.

"How long you gone be in this thang Ari?" Kam asked carefully placing her arm around him as Jared secured the other.

"I can walk on my crutches the hospital just insists I use the wheel chair to leave." He nodded.

My mom walked in with the discharge papers for her.

"These people at these hospitals get on my damn nerves just rude and want to give you a hard time for nothing." She huffed. "Ari how you feeling baby? You wanna go to the house before we go by your moms?"

I rolled my eyes just thinking about Eva. Her actions through out this while situation proved ain't shit ass mama. Your daughter has been laid up in the hospital after an accident that could've killed her, and where have you been? Not here haven't been here not one time to see her or check on her.

"Can we go to the house first? I'd rather deal with that situation later or not at all." She sighed as she was now sitting comfortably in the wheelchair.

My mother nodded and we all made our way out the hospital room.

Once we finally left the hospital we all met up at my house. Kam, Jared, and I all left school early to help Ari get situated on her first day home from the hospital.

"Well I guess I'll go cook something since I got a house full of kids." My mother said leaving us all lounging in the living room.

"Aria you good?" Jared asked as he stared at her intently. Aria was too busy staring at nothing in particular.

"Yea." She mumbled.

"Yo back hurting again?" She nodded.

"Turn around." She turned the best she could so her back was facing him. He began massaging the spot on her lower back that was giving her trouble.

"Pssst. Psssst." I ignored Kam as he childishly buzzed in my ear.

He sucked his teeth. "I said psssst. Psssst."

"What Kamden damn?"

"All the attitude for what Nobi?"

"You annoying."

"Girl, I almost said something to you. I ain't did shit but try to get yo attention since you don't like being poked." He rolled his eyes.

"Ok. I'm sorry what is it?"

"Nah fuck it now. Ole rude ass." He pouted.

"Oh my gosh I said sorry Kam please don't be a baby. What were you going to say?"

"Ion wanna talk to you Zenobia please stop talking to me." He scooted away from me.

I laughed at his childishness all he ever did was play.

"Fine then don't tell me."

He scoffed. "I won't."

He reached in his pocket pulling out his phone. He began scrolling and laughing ever now and then.

"Kam?"

He ignored me.

"Baby?"

He ignored me.
