Zenobia, Kamden, & Aria in the mm

Everybody was packed into the lunch room for the last lunch period. Most of them probably skipped class to be in here like they did every day, but the teachers were grateful for their absences I'm sure.

I sat at my usual lunch table as my best friend Kam came over with a Gatorade and a bag of hot fries in his hands.

Ruffling my hair a little he sat next to me.

"What's up Nobi?"

"Sup." I answered focusing my attention on my sandwich and the girls standing around Melvin.

Let me tell y'all. Melvin was one of the finest boys at West side for sure. He was a basketball player, good looks, wealthy family all that. But with that came his cocky ways and long story short the boy was a hoe.

He shot his shot at me a couple of times and I turned him down every time. He claimed I was stuck up, but I was far from it. I just wasn't dumb.

"You dry today fam was sup?" Kam touched my forehead.

I scrunched my face up moving away from him before pointing to the scene unfolding in front of us.

"Is that Aria over there?" Kam asked before shaking his head and watching along with me.

Aria was our best friend as well. We'd warned her so many times not to involve herself with Melvin but you can't tell people anything these days. Let her tell it we were hating on her.

So we let her be great. Not even a week after they hooked up some thot had approached her with ultrasounds claiming to be pregnant with Melvin's baby.

She cried to us about it of course and being the good friends we are we were her shoulder to lean on. After all her crying it only took a day for him to sweet talk her back into his arms.

We are still waiting for ole girl to drop to see if it's his baby or not. I'm sure it is but Ari is in denial as usual.

It was sad but what could I do. Aria was old enough to make her own decisions.

"Melvin I thought you said practice ran late yesterday?" Aria asked all in his face.

"It did baby. Why you tripping? You don't trust me now? She lying I told you that already." He said grabbing her hand.

I rolled my eyes at the scene because I knew the nigga was lying and my best friend was falling for it AGAIN.

"We didn't even have practice yesterday." Kam whispered to me while shaking his head.

I didn't respond I had no comment on it. Melvin was a liar we all knew that.

"Why you lien Mel you was at my fucking house yesterday. You said you loved me after we fucked." Carmen was now in tears screaming after basically being called a lying whore in front of the whole junior and senior class.

Poor girl was probably telling the truth and Melvin just basically played her.

This was an everyday thing.

"Nah. It couldn't have been me shawty I was at practice. Plus I got my girl right here the fuck I'm gone be at yo house for? Fuck outta here." He spat.

The nigga deserved an academy award for this here acting.

"He is the definition of a bitch bro." Kam said taking a swig of his drink.

"I agree." I nodded my head picking at my fries.

Melvin whispered something to Aria causing her to smile big. Carmen stormed out the cafeteria in tears. I honestly felt bad for the girl.
