"Zeno get up ma." Kam shook me out of my sleep as I gasped for air panting trying to catch my breath.

"Calm down you alright mama. You was having a bad dream?"

I nodded. I heard what he was saying but I wasn't understanding what was going on.

"Aria." I whispered silently sobbing.

"Yea Jared called saying she got into a bad wreck and to meet at the hospital. That's what yo dream was about?"

I nodded wiping my eyes and breathing in and out slowly. I proceeded to tell him about my dream as I started to cry again just thinking about it.

"Damn that's crazy. I'm sorry you had to go through that mama." He gave me a sad face that was the cutest thing ever.

"It felt so real Kam. Is she okay please tell me she's ok?" I panicked.

He grabbed me pulling me up off the bed and hugging me tight.

"She fine baby just a little banged up. Broke leg and a minor concussion."

"Oh my god. She cheerleads Kam nothing about that is ok."

"She alive man that's all that matters. She coulda been dead from how bad that wreck was." I cringed.

His words brought flashbacks of my dream into my head.

"Get dressed so we can go to the hospital aight?" I nodded my head still shaken up.

Kam grabbed my chin lifting it for me to look him in his eyes.

"She good ma stop that." I sniffled pressing my lips together to suppress my tears from falling.

He kissed my forehead before letting me go.

I threw on the first thing I saw so we could hurry and be on our way. I needed to see her to be sure.

After we were both dressed we rode in Kams car to the hospital. His dad brought him a Range Rover for his 16th birthday as a I'm sorry gift. Kam excepted the car but he still wasn't on talking terms with his dad. I didn't blame him.

The car was in a comfortable silence since no music was being played. He focused on the road while occasionally tapping the steering wheel. I gazed out the window watching as we passed different places.

"Kam?"

"Yea?"

"Can you pinch me?" He chuckled a little before looking at me.

"Oh you serious?" I nodded.

"I just I gotta make sure this is real. This could be like a dream within a dream."

"You watch too much tv but let me see yo arm weirdo."

I stretched my arm out towards him and closed my eyes.

"Bro what is you doing all that for its just a pinch. I ain't even did it yet." He looked at me crazy.

I sucked my teeth getting annoyed. "Can you just do it please? Worry about yo own eyes." I mumbled.

I closed my eyes again waiting. He was taking his time.

"Ugh Kamden ple- ouuuuuuch! Boy what the hell?" I pulled my arm away from him.
