| molly's pov. |

A few minutes ago I stomped off, leaving Acacia behind with Melanie. I don't know if that was very safe, but now I've just been walking around. First, I was just trying to burn off some steam. Now, I think I'm being followed.

It's a hooded person. From the corner of my eye, I can't really distinguish any facial features. Don't know if it's a guy or girl. I keep walking. After a while I become tired, so I carelessly sit down on a park bench. I catch my breath, and then they sit beside me.

They remove their hood. It's a guy, around his twenties. The first thing I notice is that he's extremely handsome. Pale skin, blue eyes and brown hair.

"Yes-s?" I nervously ask.

"Hello, you don't really know me but I heard a bit about you. My name is Tom, or Tommy. I don't really care," he introduces himself, " and I came to give you a small offer."

"Offer?"

"Yes, it's seems that you also hate our little friend, Melanie. Right?" He asks, smiling with a glint in his eyes.

I end sitting on a swing of the playground I used to go to with my mom when I was little. I come here sometimes to clear my mind. I doesn't really help this time, as my thoughts are too jumbled to clean up. An hour passes and I start to doze off a little.

A little girl's crying startles me and I fall off the swing. I stand up and dust myself off. I look around and see a little girl with pigtails crying on a bench. She is holding a ripped up teddy bear, and there doesn't seem to be any adults around.

I walk up to her, and she seems to start crying louder.

"Um, little girl. Where are your parents?" I ask her. She starts wiping her tears and points off somewhere.

"Can I take you to them?" I ask, and she nods now that she is more calm.

"Okay come on, lead the way," I tell her as she starts walking. Parents these days really have to be more careful. We walk for a few minutes, I guess her house is pretty far. What is she doing out there without any guardians?

"What happened to your teddy bear?" I ask, but she seems to ignore me. We walk a bit more and then we stop in front of a house.

"Is this it?" I ask. She nods and goes to open the door, which is locked. I knock for her and we wait a few seconds.

A blonde girl who doesn't look much older than 20 opens the door. She immediately looks at me as if she recognizes me. She smiles weirdly and I give her a confused look.

"Um I guess this is your sister?" I tell her and the little girl rushes in.

"Oh yes thanks for that," she says, "I'm not sure how Annie always runs away like that."

"Uh, well I'll be leaving now," I say and start walking off.

"Wouldn't you like to stay for some cake?" She asks me.

"No thanks," I hurriedly tell her and walk off. What a weird thing to offer. There's something off about her. Maybe it's my imagination but out off the corner of my eyes it seems like she is frowning.
