Bryce and Javina

Humming a little song, you browsed the endless aisles of books. You some of your favorites such as War and Peace, To Kill A Mockingbird and even Hatchet. Smiling to yourself, you thumbed through some of your favorite parts.

Someone had cleared their throat behind you, causing you to turn around. A teenage boy stood there, looking at you, and he was nervous. Soon enough, you recognized him. This was Bryce, a kid from your school. Surprisingly he was there in front of you, in a book store of all places. He gave a shy smile, averting his gaze from yours

"Do you want to do something with me?" he mumbled, barely audible. You blinked at him and slowly nodded your head. He grinned from ear to ear, grabbing your hand. He dragged you through the aisles, bringing you to a small place in the back of the book store. Out of his pockets, he pulled out tiny pieces of paper and a pen

"It's on my bucket list to put notes in some of my favorite books. I figured you'd be the perfect person to help me with this. I see you here all the time, buying books and reading" Bryce hid his blushing face, then handed you some paper. "Write anything you want"

Smiling, you took the paper from him gently, writing a review of the book, The Golden Compass. Adding a small heart at the end of your paragraph, you handed the paper back. Bryce didn't except iy, only giving it back to you. "Go put it in the book" he told you, slightly smiling

Getting up from your hiding place, you walked to the book. You saw the many copies, but one stood out in particular. You slipped the note in, casually walking away

Bryce had his note ready, but he was too shy to walk up to his book. Many people were standing around that area, too many for him to encounter (pretend bryce is shy). You laughed a bit, you placed a hand over his shaking one. It stopped moving all together, and his face was a brighter shade of red.
"You'll be fine" you said, kissing his cheek

Swallowing hard, Bryce walked out. He took a deep breath and placed the note in Hush Hush. He walked back, smiling at you. That perfect smile gave you butterflies in your stomach. After a few more notes and encouraging Bryce, the both of you had just stayed in your hiding spot.
"Javina, can I tell you something?" asked Bryce gently

You nodded, listening intently. "This has to be one of the best days, or even the best day, of my entire life" Now it was your turn to blush. "Why?" you asked, unsure of what the reply would be. "I got to do something on my bucket list with the girl of my dreams"

A hand was placed around your waist, and one cupped your cheek. Bryce pulled you closer and placed a sweet kiss on your lips. It was warm and oh so very gentle. You smiled, then kissed him back. He smiled, grabbed your hand and walked out of the store
