"Congratulations, you're in."
Yuma's face lit up at those words. He was in... finally.
Since he failed at protecting someone's life, he figured he could help with killing people instead. He joined a group of hit men that operated on the deep web.
"Thank you so much, sir."
Yuma smiled and left The small office. "Yes!" He thought.
After months of feeling worthless and miserable, he finally felt accomplished. However, he felt anxious. He would start training the next day for his new job. He hoped for the best.
~A Few Months Later~
"Yuma, you are now ready for your first mission. We have been contacted by a woman who married a man with the name of Taro Aoi to inherit his fortune. She wants him dead. He will be in Tokyo tonight near the Tokyo tower. Here's how he looks like," His boss explained, handing Yuma a picture. Yuma looked closely at the picture. A man that looked like he was in his 40s was in the picture. He had a very serious look and had a few gray hairs. Yuma put the picture on his boss's desk.
"Keep the picture."
He nodded and took the picture back. "Alright, boss. I'll kill him."
That night, Yuma was assigned to go to the very top of a building. His sniper gun was hidden in a guitar case. He prepared his sniper gun. With binoculars he watched at the man in the suit and tie approached a building. Perfect.
Yuuma got the sniper gun ready. "It's time," he whispered to himself.
Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes. "You got this. You got this," he said to himself.
He aimed the gun to the man's head. He pulled the trigger and flinched as he watched the man collapse. He felt a smirk form on his face. He let out a sigh of relief. Yuma put his sniper gun back in the guitar case and ran out of the building. As soon as he reached a populated part of the city, he shoved his hands into the pockets of his coat and casually held the guitar case. Everyone he passed thought he was just a young musician. He then heard a voice in his ear piece.
"Yuma, our bomb expert will be picking you up and will take you back to the headquarters. Be at the Tokyo tower and you'll see a black truck."
He walked through the crowd of people and after a few minutes of walking, he was near the tower.
"Yuma?"
He turned and saw a girl with short pink hair. She was wearing a black hoodie. His gaze fell upon her icy blue eyes that held no emotion. She grinned.
"I'm here to pick you up."
He nodded.
After they got in the car, he looked over at her. "What's your name?"
"One. (Pronounced Oh-ne) I'm the bomb expert. And you're the sniper, right?"
"Yup, I'm Yuma."
She gave him a toothy smile. "Nice to meet you." She started the car and drove out of the populated area. The rest of the ride to the headquarters was quiet. The ride there was actually pretty far, too. They had been in the city parts of Japan, where it was full of people. The car stopped in a rural area that Yuma had never been at. One got out of the car and gestured Yuma to follow her. He got out of the car, grabbed the guitar case. Since they were out of the city, the sky was more clear and the stars were visible. Yuma stared at the sky in awe for a few seconds before finally following One.
"Here we are," One said, opening the door to what appeared to be a two story house in the middle of nowhere. "Come in."
Yuma walked in and immediately saw a few people in the room.
