Chapter 5

Ember's pov:

Not anymore!

Not anymore! I can't tolerate Alex's presence anymore. Last night he behaved so ridiculous, like he was so close.... dang! Ember don't think about it. The less you think of it the better! Uff!!! and how dare he spike Lauren's drink? How dare he put me to the wall and come close and touch me ehhhhhh...!!! That moment made me feel weird like something is..... no ember please shit your brain. Is isnt thinking right! What happened to me???

Ahhh... Stop it Ember! I say to myself as hundereds of thoughts run in my head. It was all about the filthy piece of nothing! Alex..! I keep rapid walking and hit the desk so hard. Ouch! that hurt!!!! I came out of my thoughts and realized that no one was there around.

*next morning*

I woke up early this morning by a nightmare that Alex and I were really close. He pinned me to the wall and It looked as If his lips were about touch mine and then sudden thoughts about Wayne flash in my head and I pushed Alex away. I wake up. I couldn't get over that dream so I came here. The bio lab. The only place on earth I could find.

Right now I am in the Bio lab, Room 163. It is 6:30am nobody's around also I did not wakeup Lauren. Poor her she might be having a hangover all because of that idiot! Shut the hell up em! STOP. THINKING. ABOUT. HIM!

This Alex does not get of my mind anyway what kind of dream was that. Am I really mad at him or what is it.. Arhh.. my brain is exhausted thinking about it. Ohh idea let me go to the canteen *stomach growl* woah! u gotta wait buddy yummy food on the way!!!!

Alex pov:

I see her looking at me with a big smile across her face. I found the love of my life finally. This is the happiest day of my life... *A song begins to play* " love me like you do.. la, la love me like you do.." I feel so energized as I see Ember coming towards me. She looks so beautiful in that red dress and her face lit up with a smile and then we hug.
I embrace her in my arms...WAAAIIITTT......!!!!! Did she put a men's deodorant ? This smells like Axe (men's perfume) never thought a girl will be such a gay! I look at Ember's face. It wasn't her I was hugging Wayne yewww..!! I fall of from my bed and wake up to see Wayne in front of the mirror spraying Axe all over his t-shirt and playing the song. Oh God so that was a dream... any ways that stupid egotist ain't got anything to do with me. Just chuck her out of your mind Alex!

" What happened Alex?" Wayne hesitantly asked me, quickly sliding his deodorant and comb into his bag. "Nothing just a dream I guess. By the way where are you going so early in the morning? Dont tell me you are going to the library". "ahhhh.... I am going to check out the gym"he looks down and adjusts his glasses "Haha.. that's not your cup of tea Wayne your saying as if your going to checkout books in the Library"
Wayne is my roomie and it's been a couple of days that I have shared my room with him. He is very quite but the nicest except for him being with Ember. He sticks to his books every time like a bookworm. Suddenly, an idea pops into my brain "Hey Wayne if you want I can help you with this gym." I better be friends with him after all he is my roomie *wink* "Really? thank you Alex. I am so happy that you're gonna help me." Oh my God is he really happy? he told me that he is happy like as if we were talking something serious....he doesn't know about me. "Yea, so let's start with your diet" and we discuss about his schedule and I found that Wayne is really very Intelligent and a nice guy too.. We exchange our numbers in case I might need him but I'm sure I don't. After speaking to Wayne I had some College stuff to do so I was checking the assignments though I had a lot of time I was trying to complete so that I can relax. A lot of girls come seek my help wonder if this time Ember would come too.....

Wayne's pov :

Today seems to be a good day. All though I dislike talking to people. I have made a few friends who seem to be nice. Ember, Alex and Lauren. I walk past the Cafeteria and spot Ember. She was the only one sitting. what is she doing there? I go talk to her. " Hey Ember! What are you doing so early here?" "Oh hey.....Ahhh... I was just hungry and by the way what are you doing here? " she poses the question back to me "well, I was going to the gym. I see you sitting here all by yourself. Just came to find out" "Woah!! why do you wanna go to Gym. Are you ok? sit and eat this yummy sandwich. I love eating cafetaria food. Going to gym ahh.. I don't know whether you can progress out there.. Come on Wayne lets try this new sandwich" " Don't listen to her, Wayne" a voice comes from behind. It was Alex he came of in his gym wear with his gym bag. Must say Alex has a nice physique and also every girl desires to owe him except Ember and I don't judge her. A girl like her deserves the best. She and Alex are the greatest enemies but she is nothing less like her pleasant smile that captured many heart. She knows how to handle her problems. My Ember she is so precious...... Did I say my Ember??!! what on earth is even wrong with me?? Wayne she is just your friend. She wouldn't like a person who is always into books, I say to myself.

Ember pov:

Eeehh.. this Alex is here again. Now he will give a stupid comment and try and convince me to do something. Never....never.... never....no matter what, I will stand on my decisions. I am not getting in his trap this time.
I feel like opening Mc D beside his Gym then he too wouldn't be able to resist. I mean who the hell can resist food other than this MCP! "Ember !" Alex calls putting his bag to the side. Oh God now please ask him to go away without giving me a challenge or starting another argument. "What Alex, finally you also have decided to eat canteen food?" I ask him in the most annoying tone and laugh to myself " HAHA ! I am not a foodie like you Ember eating junk. I care about my health and also thought you would participate in the fitness contest which is in Feb". He goes on and points out on a poster which reads.... 'Fitness Health care fest organized by Walter Frizzle Norbury' Oh my God so this fest organized by Prof. Walter. Alex then on continues to say
"Prof Walter is also gonna choose some of the participants for his new Healthcare project, he will be making a team. Anyways Mediocrities like you need not come. Go ahead enjoy your sandwich Ember. " he says and takes his gym bag and leaves. Wayne then on turns towards me and says " Ember sorry for what he said but I think we should go for this. We will get lots to learn and after all it's Professor Walter." I was in utter mode of delight and nervousness about what Alex said I wish I knew it before him. Now I should go to gym no matter even if he has ended up convincing me. But the point is that I can see my dream coming close to me "Ember where are you? lost?" Wayne says nudging me " Ahh.. oh no where Wayne. I think Alex is right. I think we need to go tell Lauren too." I tell him with much confidence because I have a feeling this is my time to prove my skills.

Alex pov:

I stood behind the cafeteria door just to hear this "Yess!!" Now Ember.... Welcome to Hell... haha Healthcare project!! she is such an idiot!! she even believed me about it and even Wayne too... double drama!!! *fist pump* before this contest Ember you will have to face me yes the one and only!!ALEX!!!
The game begins now *a wicked smile grows across his face* And Wayne I am gonna be real severe on you. I hate you and yea I just pretended to be your friend. I will never forgive y'all for messing with me and putting me to shame. Then you will get to know the real me.
Wayne you messed up real bad this time, just cause I know you have feelings for Ember even if you're not aware of and I don't give a damn about it.......but I hate you so much with all my might.

*Later there's an announcement that the participants for healthcare fitness are going to be tested for Prof.Walter's Health care project. And Alex is in Utter shock that whatever he said has come true and that professor Walter is really going to select contestants from the fitness contest*

Wayne's Pov:

I heard two professors talking about this Prof. Walter selecting participants from the contest. The professors conversation were very confidential but how did Alex get to know about it Before anyone? This sounds so strange. My intuition tells me that something is not right......
