Embers pov :

After alex said he can take care of himself I felt really bad. I know how he must be feeling but if he keeps hiding his feelings he will be the one hurt badly. Probably he still loves her. I could be wrong or right. I need to know about Alice first and her motives. Ask me why I'm helping Alex. Answer? Well it's fair enough to help him because he saved me too right. Alex has been drawing something on the soil and I've been sitting here thinking too much. I can't sleep mainly because of the thoughts in my head and second because there is no place. Oh yea about the fire Alex did put on fire using stone rubbing technique. Smart boy!

My eyes are stooping and I'm hungry too. It's okay I will go ask Alex. Anyway it was my fault to get angry on him. He had every right to reject my care. Why did I even think he will trust anyone else after such a big incident? To gain his trust it will be hard but he gradually will and I know it. Probably hehe

I call out to Alex "Alex?"

No response?

"Alex"

No response again?

I walk ahead "Alex are you okay?"

No response? What's wrong with him?

"Alex what's wrong with you?"

"Go away Alic- ........I mean ember, please"
He almost just said Alice didn't he? So he was thinking about Alice all this while. So something might have happened when he met Alice. He doesn't want me to know okay but him being so sad is not a pleasant one to look at.

"You're thinking about Alice, aren't you?" I ask.

"N-no! w-why would I? I hate her!" I doubt that he hates her even now he can't get over her.

"Never did I ask whether you love her or not, did I?"

"Don't act too smart just stay in your limits, it's my personal life I can take care" he stands up "You don't belong to my life so don't care at all" he walks to the tree trunk to sit down.

His eyes tell it all how he feels.
"Okay I won't ask you anything about it but I'm super hungry so can we find something to eat?" I ask walking towards

"Mm okay"

**one hour later**
Searching for so long was all vain. Couldn't find anything edible to eat nor didn't find a way out.
"Hey did you hear that?"
Alex suddenly stands up.

"Hear what?"

"I-I just heard a car horn"

"Really where?" We run together to where we hear some noises.
And
Hurahhh!! We see a road!!!!! Ah thank God I couldn't live here any longer.
We call for a car and lucky that driver agrees on taking us to tellotown inn. Alex sits in the passenger seat and me at the backseat. I think the driver smokes a lot I can almost smell his stinky breath till the back seat. Disgusting!!

"Are you two a couple?" He asks out of nowhere.

Without hesitation we both reply "No"
I can see the driver smirk from the front mirror "that's cool! I was thinking we could go to a club and have fun, sounds good, beautiful?" He asks me of course.

"No, thanks I don't party" I reply

"Don't worry I will help you party and you can spend the night at my house babe " babe???? What in the world he thinks of me? A free gift?!?!

"No, I just would like you to take where I asked for" he's pissing me off

"A hot and sexy babe like you should have some fu-" he gets cut off by Alex suddenly putting on the hand brake
