Chp 30 - The New Annoying Roommate

Scene 1: *At the Library*

Wayne's pov:

"Hey Alex I will check out these books to complete the assignments. Shall we both do the assignments together? "

What's wrong with me? together? Why would we guys work together? I think these are all the side effects of Ember that I have opened up with people these days.

"Hey Wayne, Hello!"

Alex waves his hand in front of my face. "Ahh, what just happened Alex?"

"I said yes! We can work together but, what happened to you? You seem to be lost somewhere. Are you alright? "

"Yes, of course, I am alright, I was just thinking about the project" I say project even thou I wasn't thinking about it.

"Fine..! And yeah, also get the Medical Microbiology textbook I am thinking of writing somethings about it in my assignment so I need that book"

" Alright! By the way, what's
that book in your hand, Alex?"

"Ohh... this is about the lost twins. It's quite interesting but, I haven't finished it yet! Thought I would continue reading after the assignment."

"Ahh.. well then I will get going" I say while gathering all my books from the table.

"Okay, I will be in the cafeteria. See you there Wayne!"
Alex goes away.

I go look for the book which Alex asked me to get. I look for it from one shelf after the other.

All of a sudden I see someone familiar "Ohh is that Ember?! I'll go ask her if she willing to join us to complete the assignments."

I see Ember standing at one corner of the shelf with her back faced towards me.

So I go and pat her back. "Hey, Ember!" I scare the hell out of her that she flings the book in the air and screams.

And the other students turn look at us and start shuuu...ing us with a finger on their lips to stay quite "shuuu. .."

"ah, I really didn't mean to do that Ember I am sorry."

" What?! I am not Ember go check you eyesight.. umm I mean go check your glasses"

Wow, so this is the new girl in my class she looks so much like Ember. And look at that attitude she's got.

"Oh, so you must be Alice! You look like Ember except your eyes are green."

"What did you just say? Excuse me! I don't look like her. I am way better off than her! In fact she doesn't even look like a girl."

"Woah, you are being rude. What do you mean by she does not look like a girl? you both look exactly the same and Ember looks good as well!"

I say loudly that the students turn around again and start shuuuing us.

"Alright, Wayne! I will deal with you later. Being a topper of the class I thought you were smart but you seem as dumb as an ox!! Right now

What's up with this girls attitude?! Anyways her words really don't affect me even if she is yelling or whispering at me all these rude and harsh words.

"Thank you for your words of appreciation Ember errhh.. I mean Alice " I say sarcastically and get going.

" how dare you " she yells at me and then gets shueed by everyone. "Haha.." I felt that was fun

Finally, I found the book on the shelf which was next to Alice. I go to the front desk to check out all my books. The moment I place my books on the table. Alice comes barging into me, pushing me away from the desk like a wild cat.
