Chp 23 - Why me alex?

"Hands up!" Somebody says in the background and when we look everything is clear, right in front of our eyes. The one who taunted us and made us like this. The one and only........

Alex's pov :

Alicia? What is she doing here?

"Hey Alex! Remember me?" She waves at me with one of those infamous smirk that makes me feel like she's an evil goddess.

"What are you doing here?" I ask.

"Oh don't you know?"

I remain silent for her to finish.

"After all you've caused so much pain and look at you" she points at ember who has not yet faced Alicia "You got a new chick already? How fun how fun!"
I have not understood her at all when I first saw her and now also she doesn't make sense

"Well wanna know who is that messager who's been taunting you and brought you so far?"
I still look at her for an answer.

"Me" she points at herself. Really?!?!!? It was Alicia all this while? But why?

"Why would you do that?"

"I guess you will know better about it" she smirks. I'm going to jump in hell now if I see that smirk of her's again.

"I don't know what you are saying? It don't make sense at all" I say. Seriously it don't!

"Don't you want to show me your new chick?" She walks around to see ember who is still in the same position ever since I saw Alicia. She lifts ember's head with her finger and as soon as she sees ember her heart drops out of her chest. She moves back a little and then she says "are you ember?"

Ember still fixes her eyes on the ground and replies "Y-yes"

"Is she your girlfriend or somebody you bought to play with?" She looks at me for an answer.
"She is my enemy and knowing that is none of your business Alicia !!" I turn towards her completely. She is annoying me.

"Oh okay!" She replies still shocked I guess. I wonder what made her get so shocked when she looked at ember. Did ember show her ugly face? I'm sure she did.

"Why have you been doing this?"

"I'm doing this to take revenge on you Alex. Do you think after making such a big mistake you could get away with everything?"

"What the hell alicia!" I grab her by her arm "What the heck are you talking about?"

"Oophs! Was I not clear enough?"

"Tell. Me. Or. Else. I. Will. Pull. The. Trigger" I say pointing the gun to her head.

"Do whatever you want. You act like you don't know"

"What do I have to know? Huh? Tell me ALICIA!"

Ember yells "What's going on? How do you know her? Did you plan all this Alex with petricia? Huh?" She questions.

"Its Alicia darling! Alicia!" Alicia uses her sass. Bullcrap.

"Whatever! Answer me alex!" Oh girl the rage

"No I didn't. I swear I didn't"

Ember leaves. She runs away even before I could stop her. As soon as I get loose of Alicia she picks up her gun and points to my head "Who is she? What is she to you?"

"Put that gun down"

"I will, if you tell me about her"

"Why do you want to know about her?"
