Valentines Day part 2 chapter 7

Wayne's pov:

Where did Ember and Alex go? I wanted to check where they were because our competition is going to start very soon. I take permission to go to the girls dorms and as I enter I heard sobs coming from embers bathroom. I rush to the bathroom and see Ember with clutched feet to her chest crying on the bathroom floor with the shower on. "Ember? What is wrong? Tell me what happened? " I panic and worry. She shifts her position and tightly hugs me and cries out loud. I calm her down by patting her back and then she looks at me "Wayne" she pauses "hmm...tell me" my curiosity increases

"Why is it that lives most important moments should be done at off times?" I have no idea as to what she is talking about but I answer her "look Em, I have no clue what you are talking about nor am I an expert but I can say that not everything that is special will happen at those special times necessarily but it just is that way" she smiles at me "I like the way you call my name 'em' "

I just stare at her because I'm too lost for words. She gets up and takes a towel and wipes herself. She turns around "Ummm....Wayne mind if you give me some privacy"

"Huh, what?"

She looks at me then back at the towel and then back at the door and I then realize I should get outta here "oh sorry my bad"

She blushes.

She comes out and put on her outfit for the fitness competition. And nudges me and so we walk out. When we reach the gym she gets her protein shake out and her towel and starts to do some warm-ups. I sit there no idea what to do.

After a while, I spot Alex and call for him. The moment I call his name Ember's eyes widen. Alex looks at me and pretends he never saw her. "What?" He asks "wondering if you are still up for the fitness contest?"

"Course I am" He sounds dull. What's up with him and Em? Anyways the fitness contest is about to start in 10 minutes so I wish Alex and Ember best of luck. They have cold faces as they stand beside each other far enough for two people to fit in between.

Hmmm.....it all makes sense now, they had a fight AGAIN

Ember's pov:

What is happening to me? I and Alex are supposed to work together but I just can't look him in the face. It's just impossible right now. The kiss. I can't focus on anything but my own tears. I decide to take the initiative and take a look at prof. Walter. He might have understood me and gives me a nod. I walk up to Alex who is doing warm-ups

"uh....umm.....Alex" he looks up "we need to do this eh...together so best of luck" he grabs my upper arm and with bitterness clear in his eyes he says "while you're here you and me can never win. So I'll make sure you get out of this school and it will be all because of your own mistake. That kiss means nothing to me so forget about it, the sooner the best"

I wiggle from his firm grip and snap at him "You can do nothing. If a person is getting kicked from here that will be you and not me" he looks me dead in the eye. I avoid answering the kiss part back because honestly I just can't...it's not that it's not important but I don't......eh....I hate myself.

Anyways.......

For now, I just need to control my anger but later I will make sure I slap him hard until his face is red.
