Chp 22 - The truth (part 1)

Ember's pov:

The sun shines bright on me like a blinding light. I stir in my sleep and turn to look and it is still dark. Then what was that blinding light that shone on me? Haha perhaps it was my dream. I see Alex sleeping like a baby beside me. His dark and angry features so soft and tender at present. Hmm.......if only he was sweet he would complement his sleeping self which is unfortunately not what he is. He's an egotist totally. He slowly stirs under the blankets, turns to my side and rubs his eyes "You will fall in love with me if you stare at me like that" he says his voice so raspy. I hadn't known that I've been staring at him for a long time.

I quickly move away but I'm stopped and pulled back. I turn my head to see Alex sit up shirtless. When did he get shirtless? How much I know he fell sleep with his shirt on.

"Let me go"

"Says the person who was staring at me intently"
I try to get loose but he holds it tightening his grip on me.
"We need to freshen up and start working not sleep around. Now leave me"
"Oh really?" he pulls me closer than before "when did you and me turn into "we" ?" He says.

I try to avoid his eyes but he forcefully lifts my chin to look at him. He leans closer. Omg! I guess last night's beer and vodka are affecting him now. I close my eyes tight but suddenly he starts laughing. He falls back on the bed and starts laughing
"You're dumb ember. Do you really think I would kiss you? Hahahahaha"
I ignore him and quickly rush to the bathroom and slam it locking the door. Was he really going to kiss me? My cheeks burn from embarrassment and I see my face turn red. I splash water so that the redness goes away then I brush my teeth and just clean my self. I don't want to take a shower today.

I get out of the bathroom and see Alex seeing something on the laptop. His phone data is going to finsh any time soon (Alex connected his phone data to the laptop for better search)
"Shit!!!" I hear him mutter under his breath "my data's done. Without it we can't search anything any more"
I knew it!! Now we have no access to anything

"Hey I think it's best to go to the internet cafe"

"Right! Let's go" we get a internet points map from the front desk and search for it. We find one which is 2 hours away from the location. Even for internet we have to go so far?!?! We decide to go there and start our 2 hour long journey.

**15 minutes later**
"Im hungry Alex!" I whine. I haven't eaten breakfast.
"Yeah let's get off the next exit and find pizza hut"
After 10 minutes we come across an exit named "melon" oooo......I'm guessing melons grow there. We get off and go to McDonald's because we couldn't find pizza hut. We finish off with Mac n cheese and salad and some coke. While we go to the car I see 'Forever 21'. That is my favorite store. It has awesome dresses. I wish I had enough money to buy. Ooooo I see a pretty floral skirt with black wide shoulder top (see picture above) Omg!!!!! I'm totally fangirling for that dress. I get lost in my own moment. Alex pulls me by my arm "we didn't come on a honeymoon. We came here for an important work. Don't stare at that"

I get an idea "Alex can you please buy me that dress I promise I will pay for it when we get back to the university"
"Hell no let's go" he pulls me but I pout showing him my puppy dog eyes. I really love that dress. I want it.
"Ember stop being so difficult"

"Pweaseeeee" I make a baby talk and pout

"NO!" He yells "just shut up and let's go"

He drags me even though I keep pleading. He's meaner than I thought. I hate him!!!

I sit pouting in the car refusing to take a look at the map.

"Ember don't be so difficult we are here to find out something very important not shop"
