Perfect (On Hold)

Chapter 4

Lauren's pov :

I'm so excited I'm going on a date with the one and only Alex !!! Haha, don't judge me. I've been trying a lot of dresses and it's been an hour and I haven't picked the perfect outfit for tonight. I have only 30 minutes left and ember is tired of me because what ever she shows I don't seem to agree on.
Dates are stressful I know! I'm just overwhelmed that I can't concentrate on what I am supposed to do but I'm imagining how Alex will look *imagines* ( Alex gets out his car wearing a leather jacket and a nirvana shirt and jeans. He did his hair in a quiff which perfectly suits his handsome face and to top it off he sprays cologne which can take any girls breath away just by smelling it and then I stand there in awe looking at him as he smiles one of his adorable smile and then walks towards me. He takes my hand in his and gently kisses and then he pulls me by my waist and as our lips connect...) "Lauren alive or dead? Hello LAUREN!!" Ember screams into my ears and I snap out of my lovely imagination. Emberrrrr!!!
"What?" I say totally pissed of. "What do you mean by what? Did you even hear what I was talking?" She speaks. "Oh sorry I was a bit lost you know, my dreams got the best of me hehe" I shy away. "I know, but you need to dress up and I have selected the perfect dress for you, tada!!" she says while she shows me the dress. It is a low-cut red knee- lenght dress with matching red heels. After I slip on my dress I put some good makeup which includes foundation, pressed powder, blush, mascara and some bold red lipstick. I put my diamond earrings which my mom gifted me when I was 16.

Wow! The dress is so gorgeous. I'm sure Alex will love it on me. I hug and wave ember good-bye.

Since the place we are going is quite far, I take a taxi to the place where me and Alex are going on a date. I have a good feeling about this date, though I'm always confident, this time it just is a bit weird haha I feel shy. But anyways let's spend the night to the bestest.

Ember's pov :

I think Alex is upto something . How did he just meet her and ask her out? I know Lauren is everything a guy would like, but I really don't understand. As these thoughts confuse me, my phone suddenly rings *ring* *ring* I look and it reads 'mom' oh yeah I need to talk to her. I pick it up "hey mom! I'm miss you so much!" "Hello dear, we all miss you too ember and you need a good lecture. You haven't been answering my calls lately. Is something wrong? You know you can always tell me" mom asks. "Mom no I was just busy with university that's all. Other than that everything is good." I assure her. Though I want to tell her about Alex I consider it a no. "Okay honey if you say so" she says back. "Yeah mom, I will talk to you later, love you" I speak "love you too honey" she says and I hang up my phone. I really wish I could tell mom about Alex but I wanna handle it on my own. I better call up wayne and hang out, loneliness is killing me. And I call him up

*Phone conversation*
Me : hey wayne! It's me ember! Wassup?
Wayne : hi ember! I'm reading an interesting scientology book, it's new in the store.
Me : oh okay! Umm...yea...I was wondering if you and me could like eh.. hang out tonight but since your busy it's okay"
Wayne : oh no ember i-im available to hang out.
Me : yay!okay then, will meet ya in 10 minutes, sounds good?
Wayne : yea okay.
Me : bye!
*phone conversation ends*
Yay!finally out of boredom! I put on some casual top on with black skinny jeans and my hair in a messy bun and since it's hanging out with a guy I just wanna look presentable so I put on a bold cherry-red lipstick and some mascara and walk towards the boys dorms to meet wayne.

Wayne stands outside the campus even before me and his face lights up when I approach him. "Hey Wayne shall we go?" I ask "ye-yeah let's g-go" he stutters and then he hands me a rose "this is for y-you umm..ember" he shys. "Aww, Thank you waynnneee I absolutely love roses" I get happy and hug him which keeps him standing in freeze mode.
