Jo's pov

It was Friday, finally. The week had gone by so slowly, it was torture. There was a little part of me that was frightened. I had been avoiding Ethan's sister since Tuesday. I was scared. Not scared of her, but hiding anything from Simon. I had been lied to far too many times in my life, and it broke me, so I hated keeping secrets from people, and I could never trust someone after their bad actions, hence why I was avoiding Ella.

I said a quick goodbye to my friends, and headed off towards the back entrance, where Simon would be waiting. Shit. There was a strange feeling that hit me when I saw Ella, she was leaned against the wall next the the doors, using her phone, I guessed she was waiting for Ethan to pick her up.
I tried 'un-seeing' her by walking past without looking at her, but she saw me. "Oi." She said. I didn't stop, and reached for the door, when I felt a hand grab my arm. Fuck. Ella pulled me towards her. "Trying to ignore me now eh? And you're wearing your precious Simon's hoodie again."
"So?" I said, and looked at her with my eyebrows raised.
"Stop trying to act like you ain't scared of me." She said.
"Ain't ain't a word," I said, keeping my facial expression the same.
"Fucks sake." She said. "What's your problem?"
"What's your problem? Why the fuck did you move here?" I frowned.
"Dont you swear at me." She tightened her grip, and I could feel her nails digging into my flesh. What the fuck is wrong with this girl? "I wanted to be with Ethan. And maybe you could leave him alone for once."
"What?" I asked. What the...? I was so confused.
"And now you're acting like you have no idea what I'm talking about? You ain't getting away with it." She was still grabbing my arm.
"Honestly I have no idea. You mad?" I wanted to talk, but she didn't seem like she'd listen.
"Leave Ethan alone. Leave them all alone. You don't deserve them. And your little Simon?"
The confusion stopped and was overtaken by anger, then sadness. "I don't know what's wrong with you, say all this made up shit your head, but I have Simon and the boys."
"Not Ethan, my big brother. Don't hurt him again." And she let go of her grip. My arm was stinging. I could've hurt her back and made her let go, but I hated being violent. I'd been hurt physically before.
I swear that girl has problems.
I walked off to go and meet Simon.
