On Asgard Loki had been pacing his room in the palace since Thor had left to return to Midgard, the fact that a woman there was claiming to be half-Frost Giant like him was hard to take in.  Having previously thought himself the only being in all the nine realms to have this heritage he was astounded since his release from the dungeons to discover he was not.  Even Odin's own mother was a Jothun and finding this out had enraged Loki so much that at first all he wished to do was to confront him and accuse him of double standards.  Later on though he began to wonder, had the fact that Odin's own mother was a Jothun been the real reason behind him rescuing the infant rather than doing it for his own political ends as Loki had thought for so long. All the thoughts running through his mind meant that he was feeling drained after eating his meal, and having heard nothing from either Thor or his mother he retired for the evening.

Waking in a cold sweat from a nightmare Loki is uneasy. It had been three years since he had a nightmare like this where Thanos invaded his sleeping thoughts. The images had been so vivid it was as if he was actually there in the shadows watching the events take place. He bathes then dresses but still can't shake the image of a chained being from his mind, whoever it was had long raven hair like his own with the most piercing ice blue eyes. Although he tried he could not make out any of the features other than the eyes and hair. After breakfast he still had a feeling of unease so asked the guards to request an audience for him with his mother as soon as possible.

On Jotunheim Helblindi is sitting in the throne room listening to his Jothun Council, but he finds his mind drifting to his old friend Threy. It had started late yesterday as he retired for the evening, when he arrived at his chambers he had felt it, pain. At first he was confused he had not injured himself so why had he felt the pain, then later as he slept he dreamt of a world far off and of the Titan Thanos. On waking that morning he had not been able to say why he had dreamt about him but it left Helblindi unable to concentrate and with thoughts of his dead friend. Here he was not an hour into the Council session and still he was unable to shake the memory of his dream.

Suddenly he stands and a hush falls over the room, addressing his Council members "I need to visit Asgard."

"Odin will not be pleased if you just turn up unannounced, you will join your half brother in the dungeons" his Chief Counsellor argues.

"I think not. I will be forewarning them of my arrival and I intend to arrive via the Bifrost with their permission. I assure you I do not intend to join Loki in the dungeons of Asgard" he looks up at the heavens. "Gatekeeper of Asgard I request an urgent audience with Queen Frigga. Can you inform her please, I shall be at the Bifrost point in one hour, thank you" with this he turns and leaves the Throne room.

Frigga was in the library reading an old book on Jotunheim when she was informed of both Loki's and Helblindi's requests. Returning to her quarters she receives Loki and tells the guard to inform Odin of Helblindi's arrival for an audience with her and that Loki will be present too so not to worry. "Loki as you just heard we are to receive an unexpected visit from the King of Jotunheim. It seems he wishes to talk to me as well."

"What does my brother want do you know?"

"No but it seems too much of a coincidence that he has asked to visit now just as we find out about Olivia."

"I agree especially as he was in the photograph she has. Did you manage to speak to Alana and Johanus yesterday?"

"Yes and although Thor has not returned yet from what I was told it would seem that when her friend was giving birth to her daughter there were problems and both baby and mother were in distress so she used her magic to help keep them both safe. When the baby was born healthy nothing more was thought on the matter until they noticed that she healed when hurt quicker than is normal for Midgardians. I am sure that in some way the child was affected by the magic causing her to become part Aesir. That child was Olivia's Mother."
