On their return to Asgard Loki takes her to see Eir for her check up so that they can see how her throat is healing as this is the one part of Olivia's body that was not as yet completely healed and her voice was yet to return. As she sat with Eir and he watched from the doorway he began to realise that he wasn't looking forward to her leaving Asgard. Shaking his head he excused himself and went in search of his mother. "Loki to what do I owe the pleasure of your company it is unexpected I thought you were with Olivia in the Healing Rooms?"
"I was but" he trails off with a sigh not quite knowing how to tell Frigga of his feelings.
"Loki you should not be afraid of how you feel about Olivia. She is a beautiful person and the fact that she shares in part your own heritage just makes it an even better match."
"How on earth" he shakes his head "never mind I should have known you would have noticed, I am not sure she feels the same though."
Frigga stands and places her hand on her sons arm "the path may not be easy but you will both find a way I am sure." She smiles at him as he stares at her "trust me son follow your heart and work hard to get passed any hurdles."
"Thank you" and with that he bows and leaves his mothers chambers to return to the Healing Rooms when he does however he finds Olivia gone. "Eir where is Olivia?"
"She said she wished to go into the city to purchase something, she left not long after you did."
Loki turns exiting the Healing Rooms and the palace on his way to the city. As he arrives in the centre of the market area he sees Sif and Volstagg drinking outside one of the Taverns "have either of you seen Olivia?"
"Fandral has taken her to show her where to locate a particular gift she wishes to buy they will return shortly come join us while you wait" Sif indicates the spare seat next to her.
They had not been sitting there long when Fandral returned "Loki what are you doing here?"
"I came to find Olivia I was told she was with you, where is she?"
"Oh she has finished her shopping" he held up a bag" I said I would take this back to her chambers for her, she then asked if I could show her to the forest so that she could spend some time alone reading." At the concern on Loki's face he laughs "she will be alright she only wants to read she informed me that she would be able to find her own way back, do you not trust me to look after the Lady Olivia? Or are you by any chance jealous of me spending time with her?" He nudges Loki in the side before picking up his tankard.
"It is not that I don't trust you Fandral but she is still unable to speak are you sure she was okay with you leaving her?" Sif, Fandral and Volstagg share a look as they each notice Loki chose not to answer Fandral as to whether he was jealous or not.
"Yes" he smiles at Loki "she apparently has been there before and knew the path once we reached it, she told me there was a special place she liked not far into the forest."
Loki nods his head "I know where she means" he stands "I will take my leave if all is well" and waving he walks back towards the palace.
However once out of sight of the others he back tracks around some buildings and heads for the forest. He knew exactly where Olivia would be because it is where they have been going to find time to practice her abilities away from everyone else. It didn't take him long to reach the path and follow it heading to the large oak tree. As he approached he could see Olivia sitting beneath it but she did not appear to be reading she was curled forward hugging her knees tightly with her head tucked up against them. He stops walking and watches her if he is not mistaken she seems to be shivering slowly he approaches her. "Olivia" he says softly kneeling down beside her "are you not feeling well?" As she turns her head to look at him he realises she is crying and takes her into his arms hugging her rubbing her back "shush" he whispers against her hair "I'm here it's okay."
