Ch.16 : A Popular Nerd

Nicholas woke up at 4am. He saw her dreams, he saw the scene. One thing he couldn't figure out was whether it was real or fake?

He texted her, at 4am. Not caring if she was actually awake and dreaming about cal or not.
Nelly answered immediately
"Nicholas...about the dream. You weren't suppose to see that, besides what the hell were you doing in my dreams?!" Nelly asked through her text. Nick fell back on his bed and thought about a way to respond...

"Don't blame me for these stupid symptoms! I was dreaming he peacefully and suddenly I walked into a room and saw your dream, don't blame me for that" Nick responded as he got off his bed, walking to the nearest window. The temperature was hot and the outside world seemed refreshing. He opened the window, the cool breeze finally coming into his room, he felt relieved.

"Stop getting into my dreams!" Nelly replied

"Then you should stop dreaming. Unless you dream about me ;)" Nick replied, he laughed at his own text. Knowing she would never dream about him...

"Shut up, go to sleep. School starts in like 3-4 hours. Go to sleep, idiot"

"Fine, I'll go to sleep when you do" Nick replied, the moon was still up and the stars twinkled. The night sky was still dark and as the clock ticked. The night was silent, the breeze was the only sound and maybe some cars in the distance but it was peaceful.

"Goodnight. Nicholas" nelly replied and Nick sighed. He needed to sleep, whether he wanted to or not, the dream he walked into...was what kept him up a little longer. He felt jealous, but he couldn't do anything. Nick just wanted his favorite cute need to be happy.

Nelly found herself back in the Spanish room in the morning. Nicholas waiting for her inside, he told her to meet him there.
"It's just a check up, you know..the symptoms" Nick told her, as the two were alone in the room. Nelly sighed in annoyance.

"Again?fine, what questions you got?" Nelly asked him as she sat on a table.

"Feelings about crush?" Nick asked, he was curious.

"They're confusing..."nelly replied, and Nick nodded, he wasn't noting anything down this time.

"Tattoo?"

"Still there. The tattoo stopped growing or whatever, it's there. And I'm worried it won't go away" nelly told him as she gazed at him, his green eyes gazing at her with such care that she had to turn away...

"Okay...heart feelings?"

"That reminds me, I can feel when you're stressed."

"Seriously?"

"Yeah, it's stressful" nelly replied with a laugh

"Wanna Date?" Nick asked as he lifted an eyebrow at her. Nelly sighed in annoyance

"Stop joking around, you know that's a no. I never know what you're thinking, thank god I don't. But it annoys me that you can be unpredictable" nelly told him as she began twisting her bracelet on her wrist. Nick walked closer to her, grabbing her hand.

"I need a date, to my fathers business party.....There will be food" he pointed out, trying to bribe her into going with him. Nelly sighed in defeat.

"Food? I'll only go for the food. When is it? Where? How classy do I need to look? If you're going to make me wear something too showy I will definitely kill you. Understood?" Nelly asked as she pulled her hand away from nicks. And pointed a finger at him, trying to be all serious but he laughed. Pulling himself away from her.
