Nelly walked besides the two men, when she was escorted to sit down. Besides some old people. Jackson and Ivan had tensed up and she could feel it. Ivan excused h myself as he went to sit by his own parents.
These grandparents seemed to be...intimidating?
Nelly couldn't understand what this aura was. It was suppressing. It was...cruel...strict, obedient? Yet...kind...

"Pleasure to meet you miss violinist, you played..." An old man began saying as he had the same icy blue eyes that reminded nelly of Lindsy, he was trying to find the words to not offend her playing skills, "quite a piece there" he finished.

"Thank you sir, my teacher always said that you can't play a piece without emotion...and sometimes we must break the rules to a piece to make it wonderful once again" nelly replied with her kindest smile. She felt like she needed to impress them, but not obey them. They turned to look at Jackson. He slightly chucked as he had champagne in his hand.

"Jackson pierce. Where did you find such...a...violinist?" Another man asked, his blue eyes reminded nelly of nicks father,

"Well sir, to be honest. I had heard her play once. And I was captivated by her music, were you all not?" Jackson asked with an innocent face.

A woman, Lindsys grandmother, nelly assumed was. The woman began to smile. "I loved it, I loved her way of being rebellious! Reminds me of my teen year" the grandmother said with a smile.

"Clara, please, don't embarrass yourself" Lindsy's grandfather told his wife with a chuckle. as he grabbed her hand and placed a kiss upon her hand. The woman giggled.

"Oh, please Willy, you know I love music" the woman told her husband. She smiled delighted at nelly. She had expected to have met cruel grandparents but...that seemed to be the men's role. The women were the kindness to them

"Jackson, where did you get this girl? She's lovely!" Nicholas's grandmother complimented as she took a sip of wine.

"She's wonderful is she not! Her names Alicia Belarshvek. She's American but from Russian decent, she doesn't seem like it though does she? Apparently she's adopted" Jackson said, as he gave nelly background as if he knew everything about her. Nelly realized that she was being taken undercover. For her own sake.

"Alicia? Lovely name! Do you play other instruments?" Lindsy grandmother asked

"I used to play flute, but...the violin captivated my heart. And unfortunately I had to give it up after someone broke my original violin. I was told by many to never play again not because I couldn't play but because they were envious of me" nelly said as she remembered her high school.

"Oh! That's terrible"

"Indeed. Well Miss Belarshvek, how do you know Jackson and Ivan?" Nicks grandfather asked

"Well...I had met them, when I was dragged into a...uh...social event, by Jackson. I met Ivan there as well, as well as I had met the guy I most love" she said with a slight blush. The women began to giggle.

"Oh! Please tell us! Young love is beautiful" the two women had said.

"Well....he's...actually..in a problem, of his own. He has been matched to be with another girl and..Because I love him so much, I came to rescue him...but unfortunately many people tell me to give him up, but I can't. may I ask you, that if you loved someone and trusted them, could you give them up?" Nelly asked as her eyes turned sad. The women couldn't help but awe.

"I wouldn't give him up if I were you, dearie" Lindsy's grandmother, Clara, admitted

"If you love him, don't give him up, and if he loves you, then definitely don't!" Nicks grandmother, Anne, replied

"Clara! Depends the situation" grandpa will Harrison told his wife Clara

"Indeed Anne, will is right, we can't judge without not knowing the details of her love life" grandpa Wilson told his wife, Anne.

"Oh! Joey! But it's love" Anne told her husband

"No, we cannot consent to anything until we know the whole story" Joe Wilson said strictly.

"You're so mean to Annie," Clara Harrison told Joseph Wilson.

"Clara, don't get into th-" William Harrison was about to tell his wife, but Clara gave him a look.

"Don't lecture me on love." She stated as she stood up, and took nelly by her hand, "come on, dearie, let's leave these mean men to be alone with their solitude" Grandma Clara told nelly as she and Anne walked away from their husbands. Their husbands looked offended by their wives.

"Anne! You can't just leave-"

"Clara! Don't get mad-"  the two men began pleading

"No" both women replied as they took nelly away. Jackson looked entertained by the problem.

Nelly was taken away to go talk with more people, and without her knowing she had gained a popularity with men. She didn't even mean to attracted. All she cared about was meeting Nicholas.
She instead found Ivan,

"Hey, nerd" he told her as he was besides her.

"Hey, Russian boy" nelly replied

"Wanna dance?" He asked her

"Im still starting to get the hang of the long dress" nelly told him. He gave her a smile.

"Well, let's show you off even more. I need to find Lin, and you need to find Nick. Maybe a dance will allow us to find them in this crowd" Ivan told nelly as she nodded, and went to go dance...

-Nick
He and Lindsy had been dancing, and talking. Socializing as a couple. Both Lindsy and Nick saw their grandparents separate apparently they had a small argument about who knows what. The two were called over by their grandfathers.
"After dinner, we will be having a private dinner between us and some guests. Only the best families, understood?" Joseph Wilson told his grandsons. Nick nodded.

"Same goes for you" William Harrison told his granddaughter, she nodded.

The private dinner would include:
The Maslows
The Wilsons
The Harrison's
Special guests. Very few though.

Nick and Lindsy just wanted to get over with every thing.
