Ch.1: "nick the d***"

He pushed me back to the lockers, my body slamming hard against the metal. His gaze was back on me, a mischievous smirk on his face and his friends behind him.
"Nicholas. Did you finally get boredd?" I asked him with a smile trying to prove him that his bullying wouldn't hurt more. He smirked and gave a laugh, all his idiots laughing as well.
"It's nick. Nerds"
"Nick the dick"
"At least I have a dick that can please girls"
"As if you were a man, you're nothing. Nicholas. Besides I am a girl, but I don't see you as anything" I retorted back as his friend did "oohs"
His gaze was even more angrier at me and I smiled, "gonna hit me again? Go ahead! It will be the same as usual, don't you get bored?" I asked him as he made a face as if thinking about it. Then he smirked.
"I do get bored but I have been doing this for 2 years now, nerds"
"My name is Nelly. Fuck off, idiot. You just hate me because I'm be-" before I could finish he punched me in the stomach, I gasped for air as I fell to the ground. Spitting out a bit of blood. I was used to it. Nicholas kicked me down and stepped on my back,
"Learn your place nerd." He stated as he began walking away .I said nothing to him as I walked away. The pain spreaders through my back, fuck.
His friends each passed me, somehow kicking me. Once they were gone I sat against the lockers and sighed. Holding on to my stomach.
"Nelly! Nelly!!" I heard a familiar voice yell out for me. I saw my best friends face.
Cal kneeled next to me, and picked me up bridal style.
"You don't have to do this" I told him but he only glared at me. His piercing blue eyes looking into my dark ones
"I told you to stay with me! You could've stayed with me until my soccer practice was done, why were you here?!" He yelled at me, I knew he was really mad.
"I wanted some cookies..." I mumbled as I motioned toward the vending machine.
"You idiot, you know this is where nick hangs out after school, yet you came here" cal told me as he carried me off to go outside.
"I know..but I really wanted food" I mumbled
Cal gave me a look and sighed in defeat. "I promised I would take care of you, but you keep getting into trouble, how am I suppose to be your knight in shinning armor if I can't find my princess in time?" He asked me, and I could feel a blush rising up my cheeks
Cal was handsome, fit. Dirty blonde hair, tall, slender, musical, athletic and caring. He didn't care if I wore glasses or preferred pants over dresses. I knew I was a tomboy and he was quite charming with the girls. I often got bullied by them too, but he was always trying to be with me.
"C-can we go home? I'm really hungry" I asked as he set me down gently on the pavement. Cal was usually my ride home and we were neighbors. So his house was practically my house
He laughed charmingly and smiled at me. "Will it be my famous spaghetti or pizza?" He asked mess he looked at me with a smile.
"I really want some pizza, we can have your spaghetti Tomorow okay?" I replied with a smile as he reached out to me. Lightly placing his hand on my cheek.
"Your face is a bit dirty, did nick touch you there too?" He asked me.
I tightened my arms around my stomach. And cal gave me a look.
"No...he didn't did he? Did he actually pu-" but he saw my face and knew
"I'm going to kill him, lets go back! Now!" Cal yelled angrily. But I pulled his arm.
"No! No! I'm not worth the trouble, you will only make it worse" I pleaded
Cal clenched his fists and sighed.
"I'm not giving up on beating his ass anytime soon understand? He shouldn't ever hit a girl" cal began saying but I just looked at the ground ashamed
"I know cal...l-lets just go home please" I pleaded as I looked at him, still grabbing his arm.
