ch.33: I missed you

Ivan had invited his ice princess to his own room as according to plan.
Lindsy went to his room, walking confidentially inside.

"What do you need to tell me" Lindsy asked in a harsh tone. She sat down on the edge of the bed. Acting as if uninterested but she was anxious to hear Ivan say something.

"I want to know something" Ivan told her

"Yes?" She asked

"Who do you love? If you still love him?" Ivan asked. He was quiet, and observant

"Him? The guy I love...I really hate him. Because I love him too much. Because I can't help loving him despite all the heartbreak he has caused me..." Lindsy said quietly as she looked as if trying to forget things...memories

"But who is it?" Ivan insisted

"You're really an idiot if you don't know who it is." Lindsy told ivan with a cold tone.

"I don't know! You one day left me, left my house saying you would get fresh air. You lied to me, after that you never even contacted me. And I tried to contact you! But every time I saw you, you ignored me" Ivan retorted back as he began to get angry.

"I left you? You only used me. How dare you try and get mad at me!" Lindsy yelled at him. She couldn't believe him. After so long he still didn't understand his idiocy.

"What? You left me, you ignored me, you stopped being at my side." Ivan complained back.

"You always had used me for physical enjoyment. You always imagined you were kissing Jessica when you kissed me...it hurts you know. Being treated like a toy..." Lindsy said quietly as she looked at Ivan with despair, and sadness. She looked away from him, hiding her sadness.

"Lin..." Ivan said quietly as he slowly started getting an idea, he began to walk closer to her but lindsy turned away.

"So do you know who I love?" She asked him as she avoided his gaze.

"I'm sorry I hurt you..." Ivan whispered quietly, as he realized who she was talking about. Him.
Lindsy laughed a pitiful sarcastic laugh.

"Sorry? After so long.. you're finally sorry....I always watched you watch her. You never once saw me...I-i...gave up on you so long ago but I couldn't help loving you..." Lindsy told him as she looked at ivan. Her eyes had begun to form tears.

"Lindsy..."

"Why can't you leave me? Why do I have to love you? Why can't I...stop loving you...I really hate you." She mumbled sadly.

"Princess....I'm sorry "

"It's fine. I'm fine. I'm to be married with Nicholas, it's fine.. and we are to be brother and sister in law just how you wanted" Lindsy said with a sad smile as she looked at ivan.

"If you love me...why don't you leave him? Come with me. If you knew I had broke up with Jessica a year ago why didn't you ever try and find me?" Ivan asked

"1 year ago. I knew Jessica was being a slut with guys. One of them. nicholas. I had begged her to be faithful to you. But she ignored me, and once you 2 broke up...you were so heart broken that you only found comfort on all those girls you played around with....I didn't want to one of them, I had to hold my urge of yelling at you. Of being jealous whenever I saw another girl with you..." Lindsy informed as she wiped a streaming tear from her eyes.

"So you knew Jessica was being a whore huh? And you didn't tell me?" Ivan asked. He was calm,

"You wouldn't have believed me. You were so in love with her...I already knew...you would never believe me. So I kept quiet." Lindsy replied as she stood up, "I'll be leaving now"
