Nicholas noticed nelly from far away. Lindsy kept a close eye on him, she turned to look at where he was looking when he pulled her towards him, and cupped her face in his hands. Forcing her to look at him, her icy blue eyes gazing into his warm green ones. He didn't want her to see that Nelly was there.

"Lindsy! I-i wanted to say that I really wanted to see the horses, so let's go" he told her in a serious tone, as if trying to urge her. Lindsy nodded and although she wanted to see what he had been looking at. She let herself be led to the horse stables by Nick. Lindsy knew that she was there.

Nelly and the rest walked to the restaurant in the hotel, each taking a seat in a booth. Nelly and cal side by side, Clarisse and Adrian, Rebecca and Elliot, Crystal, Ivan, Heidi and finally Ian.
Ian seemed very out of place as Ivan had the attention of the girls.
"So, does Ian have a girlfriend too?" Cal asked nelly quietly and nelly shrugged. Ian heard and sighed loudly

"I don't have a fiancé, I know Ivan doesn't have one anymore. They broke their engagement a long time ago...." Ian informed knowing Ivan didn't like talking about his ex-fiancé.

"Yeah, my ex left me for Nick. I don't care anymore though, she missed on this" he said as he gestured to himself. Cal looked at nelly worried.

"And you wanna date a guy who wants to steal girlfriends!?" Cal asked her worried.

"N-no. Nicks changed! He hasn't cheated on me-" she began saying when she remembered the two weren't dating yet. And Nick had gotten kissed by Lindsy...

"Hmm?" Cal asked her, "so you two do date?"

"N...not yet.." Nelly mumbled embarrassed.

"Not yet! But Nick totally has dibs on her" Elliot added with a confident smile. Cal glared at Elliot, and seemed to become moody... During the entire dinner.
----
After dinner, the sun was setting, nelly had already told her mom she was with friends and her mother gladly let her sleepover with her friends. Cal also called his mother. She walked out to see the sunset, when she saw in the distance the figure of horses. Nelly began to get excited, she rarely saw such majestic animals. The sun was setting, cal was at her side.
"Is that Nick?" Cal asked,

"Nick? Why?" Nelly asked, try into squint her eyes because she didn't have her glasses.

"Yeah, pretty sure it's Nick. Give me a sec" cal said as he took out his phone and and begun to take pictures from the distance, his phone gave high resolution pictures and he showed them to nelly. In the pictures was Nicholas horse back riding with a girl as his companion. From the looks of it, it seemed a lot like Lindsy.
"It's Nick. It really is him, so he's flirting with someone else, does that prove to you that he's a jerk, nelly" cal asked as he looked at her seriously.

"It's not him..." Nelly mumbled, still not believing it, maybe it was a mistake, after all there are like 7 other people in the world that look like you.

"He's a jerk nelly, let me remind you who was the person who humiliated you infront of math class when you walked in and had water thrown at your face? Or how about the time you got tripped into someone food? How about the time you were almost left half dead after school because He beat you badly?" Cal asked in his most serious voice. It was cruel to her ears, it was like being rubbed in the face how wrong she was.

"It's not him. He has a reason for things.." Nelly mumbled, trying to excuse Nick.

"So he had a reason to humiliate you? He had a reason to half beat you to death? To bully you constantly? Why can't you understand he isn't a good guy" cal told her, as his blue eyes gazed into hers with such intensity. He had grabbed her arms, and made her look at him, he was completely serious.
"Why can't you understand...that he's not what he seems to be but rather is a huge jerk and doesn't deserve you" cal told her, in a lower voice. Nelly felt her heart throb with pain, she felt her eyes want to cry, but she held it back. She wasn't going to cry about this,
