ch.36: 6 months up.

The six months were up...
It was the last day of the months. Already February.

Nelly awaited nick to call her before it was midnight... but he didnt. He hadn't called her for almost a week.
She believed it was because he was busy...but...something made her slightly believe that maybe he didn't want her as his girlfriend anymore. So much time away.. they could have separated and he could have developed feelings for Lindsy.

That night she fell asleep with a small heart ache...

Nicks life in England.
He knew very well that he hadn't called her. He couldn't affect to be distracted from his plan. He and Lindsy had avoided each other ever after their "argument"
Which the servants had spread rumors about in a couple hours. Some rumors said that they had fought over nicks lovers while other said it was because Lindsy was asking for too much of him. The rumors got stager as the days progressed.
Their parents had sent servants in to spy on them and although so,et knew they were in the same room it was always silent and full of glares between the two.
After all they had to make it seem believable.

"Nicholas. Fix your little quarrel with Lindsy" his father told him.

"She started it, I won't apologize"Nick replied with a stubborn tone.

"Your grandfather not be happy about it. The wedding is in 2 days and the things have already been prepared for the ceremony and vows" his father told him.

"Did Lindsy take a part of the preparations?" Nick asked in an annoyed tone. Trying to make it seem noticeable that he "hated" Lindsy

"No. She did not. Her mother arranged everything. With the approval of her grandfather"

"I told you father, I won't go back on my decision." Nick stated In a cruel tone as he pushed some documents onto the table. "Here's the work you made me check out" Nick informed as he pushed himself off his chair and began stomping out of the room.

"Nicholas!"

"I told you, I'm not marrying her" Nick replied angrily as he left the room, slamming the door harshly behind him. He suppressed a smile as he walked down the corridors of the Wilson estate outside doc London. He was glad his plan was working. And although his mind was on the plan he couldn't help but wonder if Nelly would have someone by her side soon? As the 6months promise was over...
