Chapter XL: Revelation

He said to her "Who are you going to believe? The mirror, a photograph or the eyes of the man who thinks you're the most beautiful woman on the planet?"

"WHO THE HELL IS BIANCA?!" Kathryn's voice boomed inside their bedroom with her eyes glowing in gold.

Daniel, half dressed, dampened hair,only a bath towel covering the lower part of his body watched his wife walked towards him in terror.

"Baby what's wrong?" he asked in astonishment.

"I. said. who. the. hell. is. Bianca!?" she repeated as the phone flew in air but Daniel was quick to catch it.

Tinignan niya ang screen ng cellphone niya at nakita niya kaka end lang na tawag galing kay Bianca.

Kumunot ang noo ni Daniel, he knows why she is so mad. Tumawag ito at baka ano na naman ang pinagsasabi.

Matagal ng may gusto sa kanya si Bianca. Lagi yan nanonood ng games niya and she always show her self sa mga events or parties kung nasaan siya. She's clingy and annoying.

The only reason he saved her number was to avoid her calls. Para kung tumawag o mag text ito, hindi niya sasagutin o replyan.

Malamang binigay na naman ng coach nila ang number niya kay Bianca. Pamangkin kasi ng coach nila sa team ang babaeng iyon.

"Baby...wala yun, she's just some girl.." he starts.

"Some girl, who calls you Love.." sabi ni Kathryn sa kanya. Her eyes still glow in gold.

Seeing her eyes glow in gold because of jealousy didn't even stir fear in him. Parang natuwa pa siya to see Kath jealous. Jealous of nothing.

"She calls me that ever since. Hindi namin tawagan yun. Laging bumununtot sa akin yan. Pero iniiwasan ko naman eh..." sabi ni Daniel ng mahinahon.

Kinuha niya ang isang kamay ni Kath at hinila palapit sa kanya kahit hindi pa rin nawawala ang kulay ng mata ni Kath. Her brows are still furrowed in jealousy.

"Baby, she means nothing to me...wala talaga. Ikaw lang. Ikaw lang." he cups her face, looking at her straight in her glowing golden eyes.

"Bakit kasi hinahanap ka niya...tapos she called you Love." sabi ni Kathryn in her voice shaking.

"Makulit talaga yan. Kaya ko nga sinave ang number na yan para hindi ko sagutin at hindi ko replyan..and remember that night we met sa bar? Yung babaeng kasama ko sa VIP. Siya yun, she mixed something sa drink ko kaya tulog na tulog ako noon. Until you came.....promise, nagsasabi ako ng totoo."

She lowered her eyes and pressed her forehead to his chest.

Naaalala nga niya ang gabing yon. How could she forget that face? Pag makikita niya ulit yon. Lagot sa kanya ang Bianca na yun. She remembered how that girl rode on top of him,unbuttoning Daniel's shirt and kissed him.

The image is enough to make her mad.

"Ano kailangan ko gawin para mapanatag ka sa Bianca na yan?" her husband asked.

"Nothing...naniniwala ako sayo. I just felt angry when I heard her call you Love." Kathryn said not looking at him still buried on to his bare chest.

He kissed her hair.

Slowly he reached for her cheeks and scanned her face. He is still amazed by her glowing eyes. How those pair represents her deepest feelings and apprehensions.

"Huwag kang mag seselos okay? Dahil hindi kita bibigyan ng dahilan para maramdaman mong may iba pa akong pwedeng mahalin bukod sayo. Wala na Kath. You're my absolute." he said last before kissing her lips.
