Monday, a day later:

I rolled over in my bed and fluttered my eyes open, rubbing them and trying to find a clock. Once I found the alarm clock, I noticed the time being nine o'clock. I sighed and pulled the covers off of me, slipping out of bed. I slipped my slippers on and made my way over to the door, opening it up and heading towards and down the stairs. As I walked into the kitchen, as I was rubbing my eyes and yawning, I was met by Lori and my dad.

"Morning," I smiled, kissing my dad on the forehead; heading over to the toaster. "Morning hunny," Dad smiled up from his newspaper.

"Did you guys sleep well?" Lori asked. "Yeah I did thanks, you dad?" I picked up a slice of breed and placed it into the toaster.

"Yeah, just couldn't really sleep though. I'm just nervous to see how today turns out," Dad started to play with his fingers; as he started to feel nervous. "You're nervous? I'm nervous!" I chuckled, pointing to him then me.

"Well I am here for you sweetie," Dad went back to looking at his newspaper. "Thanks," I grabbed some Nutella for my toast, after it popped up.

I grabbed a plate and chucked my hot toast on top, quickly grabbing a knife. I dipped my knife into the Nutella and started spreading it all over my toast, dripping down the sides looking appealing. I licked my fingers and then placed the knife into the sink, picking up my plate and sitting next to dad.

"May I ask, why did you leave me behind with mum?" I adjusted myself and picked up a slice of toast. "Well, your mother threatened me. She said that you were the only hope that'll make her happy, after what we've been through. But if I took you when you were five, your mother threatened me going into court and saying that I didn't share you and blah blah blah," Dad said.

"Woah, so I was really the only thing left of my mum?" I said, with a mouth full of food. "Yep, I actually wanted you but your mum got you," Dad sighed.

"Well, you got me now," I slightly chuckled, placing my toast down onto my plate. "And I'm happier than ever," Dad rubbed my back and winked at me; causing me to grin to God and back.

I finished my last slice of toast, hopping off of the stool and walking over to the dishwasher. I rinsed my plate off and stacked it towards the back, closing it up and wiping my hands along my pants.

"Come on sweetie, you need to get ready. Leaving in an hour," Dad patted my back, placing his mug into the dishwasher. "Okay," I punch him softly on his shoulder and ran off the the spare room.

I got into the spare room and closed the door behind me, kicking off my slippers. I walked over to my suitcase and pulled out some simple clothing, quickly getting out of my pj's and into my day outfit. I placed some Vans on, and quickly went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and clean my face.

After getting freshened up, I tied my hair up into a pony tail and looked at the clock, seeing I had another half and hour. I rolled my eyes and allowed my arms to drop, thinking of what to do. Then, Matt popped into my head. I smiled and picked up my phone, writing him a text messages.
