Chapter 57,

Saturday, two weeks later;

Walking down into the kitchen, I saw Skylynn nearly touching my art work. My eyes grew wide and my body started running fast.

"DO NOT TOUCH!" I dropped my crutches and reached my hand out.

Skylynn jumped and looked back at me.

"Sorry baby, just this piece of work is very important to me. This is for college," I walked over to her and got a hold of my painting. "It's okay Madison. Sorry for touching it," She shoved a finger into her mouth.

"It's fine Sky," I weakly smiled. "What is the picture about?" She sat down into her chair and looked down at the painting in my hand. 

"It's about a girl who has lost who she truly is. She's trying to find her way through the world, while trying to get over all the obstacles in life," I smiled down at her. "Huh?" Skylynn titled her head to the side and furrowed her eyebrows.

I laughed and ruffled her hair, "It's just a painting of a girl." Her eyes grew wide, "Oh. It's really good!"

"Thank you Sky," I smiled and placed the painting on top of the cupboards so she can't reach it.

Just as I went back to Skylynn, Sawyer started barking while running into the room. Then Matt walked into the room which made me understand why Sawyer was barking. I smiled and tucked my hair behind my ears. 

"You doing anything today?" He walked over to me and hugged me from behind. "What day is it today?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows as I placed my arms over his. 

"Saturday," Matt kissed the side of my neck. "Well I am going out for breakfast with Jada but afterwards nothing," I said as I spun myself 'round so I could face him. 

"Okay. Well my family has gone out for the weekend and I was wondering if you would want to come over to mine to stay," He got a hold of my arms and pulled me out and then back into his chest. "Yep. Just have to ask dad," I smiled as Matt brought our lips closer together. 

"It's fine by me," He walked into the kitchen causing Matt and I to pull away from one another's bodies. "Hey Chad," Matt smiled as he pulled me back into his chest. 

"Morning," Dad yawned. "So I can stay over at Matt's?" I raised an eyebrow as I tried to get out of Matt's embrace. 

"It's not like you haven't done it before," He poured himself a cup of coffee. "True," I nodded as I got out of Matt's embrace. "Just don't get up to no good," He turned around and narrowed his eyes at us.

Matt and I immediately looked at each other and went into a laughing fit. Maybe that gave it away that we did. 

"We won't," I looked back at dad and smiled; blushing ever so slightly. "Well I'm gonna grab Nash and force him to do something with me until you can come round," Matt kissed my forehead then ran off.

"Okay," I called out. "Please don't do anything stupid Madison," Dad said catching my attention.  "You don't need to worry dad. It's just chill day," I grabbed my crutches and made my way upstairs.

"Before I head off, can you take me to the supermarket? Matt wants to make a YouTube video with me in it," I wiped my hands and pushed my plate forward. "Sure. What type of video are you making?" Jada placed some money down onto the table.

"What's in my mouth challenge," I laughed placing my half of money onto the table. "It better not get naughty," Jada winked. "Oh shut up," I blushed slightly.

Jada laughed and stood up grabbing her bag. We walked to her car where she then took me to the supermarket. After grabbing a few items, she dropped me off at Matt's house where somehow I became nervous.
