Friday, four days later;
Lazily walking over to my computer, I opened it up and noticed my Auntie sent me an email. I sat up in my chair and started smiling, the words soothing me. It read: Aw Madison, this is beautiful! Really reminds me of my sister, oh how I miss her so much. We have decided to do her a funeral here in Paris. I have invited your family and also your boyfriend. We need to send your mother off, in the right way. See you in a couple weeks beautiful xox
Knowing I can send my mother off in the right way, that makes my heart melt more than you'll ever know. As I was writing out an response, I heard voices fill my ears.
"Can you please tell Madison breakfast is ready," I heard my dad say to someone else. "Can't you just talk to her?" I heard Hayes whine.
Dad isn't talking to me and I'm not talking to him. The other day he called me crazy because I could see Mum and Lily, which I don't find that crazy. He keeps screaming at me that I need to get a consoler, but I'm not that crazy.
I pushed myself away from the desk and got out of my chair, soon getting out my room. I walked into the kitchen and noticed all eyes on me, making me feel a little uneasy.
"Did you know we're going to Paris in a couple of weeks?!" Skylynn said excitedly. I looked down and smiled at her, "Yeah I heard."
"Is that where you're from?" She asked. "Um, sort of," I replied as I didn't know how to explain to her that I'm half French. "That is so cool!" Skylynn ran over to the table.
I sat down at the table and waited for my food to be placed in front of me, my eyes wondering around the kitchen.
"Ready for the big game?" Nash punched my shoulder lightly. I looked at him and smiled, "I'm so nervous!"
"Why? We have done plenty before," Nash chuckled. "Well for starters, it's our last big game for school ever. And also because this game depends on my scholarship," I heard a plate being placed down in front of me.
"You have nothing to worry about," Nash nudged me as he started to eat his food. I grinned and ruffled his hair, "Thank you." Nash chuckled and fixed his hair back up, "No problem."
"So everyone's passports are up to date?" Dad said as I started eating my food.
I nodded and everyone else did as well.
"We're going to be staying in a hotel that Madison's aunt provided for us," Dad said.
I chewed onto my bottom lip and didn't dare to look at him.
"So your aunt said Matt's coming," Nash perked up. "I'll have to ask him if he's available," I said. "I'd be amazing if Matt came. We could visit the Eiffel Tower together," Nash smiled.
I raised my eyebrows and continued to eat my breakfast. After finishing eating my breakfast, I ran upstairs and started getting ready. I closed my door and placed my uniform on, soon brushing my teeth. I walked back into my bedroom and sat down on my bed, looking into the air.
"Hey mum. We're having a funeral for you," I slightly smiled getting my shoes on. "I know. I heard," I heard mother speak.
I smiled even more and looked up, still tying my shoes up.
"I get to be buried in the country I belong in. I knew I shouldn't have moved out here," Mum looked upset. "Why did you move mother?" I finished tying up my shoe.
"For your father," She shrugged. "Oh," I dragged the word out.
"Hey Madison," Mum's voice sounded like she wanted something. "Yes?" I picked up my school bag.
