Monday, a week later:

"Come on Maddie, wake up!" Jada slapped me in my face. "Ow!" I held my cheek, opening one of my eyes. "Sorry," She smirked.

I slowly sat up and sighed, rubbing my eyes which were puffy and red. I rolled over and rested my head upon her lap, feeling her fingers make their way to my head.

"Come on, you need to eat something. You haven't eaten for days," Jada stroked my head.

She's right. I feel so bad for running away from Matt when he asked me to be his girlfriend. But I had a reason why I did, and that reason was because I don't want what happened between Ella and Matt happen to me and Matt. I don't want him to cheat on me. I haven't eaten, haven't gotten out of my room much, and definitely haven't gotten out of the house.

Jada stood up and I stretched my arms out to her, forcing her to drag me out of bed. I got onto my feet and stumbled around, feeling her arms drag me to downstairs. We went into the kitchen, I rubbed my eyes as the sun light that was peeping through the window, causing me to groan.

"And what would you like?" Jada placed me in a stool. "Nothing," I huffed.

"Aw, come on Maddie! You have eaten nothing, nothing," Jada groaned as I just shrugged. "I'll starve, thanks," I got off of my stool and walked away, as nothing interested me.

As I walked over to the lounge, with my head down low, I bumped into someone. I sighed and didn't bother looking up, walking away. But the person got a hold of my chin and slowly lifted it up, causing me to slightly open up my eyes.

"You okay?" Matt's voice rang through my ears.

I sighed, as my blue eyes met his gorgeous brown eyes. I gulped and slowly placed my hands onto his face, shaking my head.

"I'm getting there," I shrugged as I removed my hands from his face.

I went to walk away, but he quickly got a hold of my arm and pulled me back into him. I stumbled back trying to get my balance back, after he let go of my arm.

"Can we talk?" He nervously looked at me. "Fine," I bit my lip and threw my arms up into the air. "Come on, let's go outside," He took hold of my hand and leaded us to outside.

We both walked over to the pool and sat down, dipping our feet into the pool. The sun blinded my eyes, as I haven't had much contact with it. I covered my eyes and looked down at my feet, getting blinded again from the sun hitting the water.

"So," Matt trailed off.

I rolled my eyes and looked away from him, splashing my feet in the water.

"Maddie, I thought you liked me?" Matt asked with such sadness in his voice. "I do Matt-," I slowly looked at him.

"Then why did you run away from me?" He furrowed his brows. "Because," I slowly shrugged.

"Because what?" He asked. "Matt are you stupid?" I softly asked.

"No?" He looked at me with such confusion. "I don't want what happen between you and Ella happen to us," I sighed.

"What do you mean?" He slightly pushed himself back so he could face me. "Matt, you cheated on Ella with me. You kissed me so many times, you tried to do so many things to me and yet you were still with Ella. Will you pretend to love me like you pretended to love Ella? Would you go out and kiss other girls with passion and love? And don't say you promise you won't, because we both know that you don't keep promises. I don't want that happening with us," I pushed myself up; as I got heated.
