Chapter 28,

Friday, a month later;

"Maddie! Wake up!" I felt a pillow whack my face causing me to flinch awake. "What?" I rolled over in my bed, mumbling into my pillow as my eyes slowly closed back together. 

"It's school and you are going to be late," He ripped the pillow underneath my cheek, causing me to slam down against the bed sheets. "And we have some very exciting news!" Hayes said as I slowly looked up at Nash with squinted eyes. 

"What's this news?" I slowly furrowed my eyebrows as I sat up and looked between the two of them. "Oh, it's nothing," Nash glared at Hayes. 

"But Nash we're-," Hayes held his finger up. "Shut up Hayes!" Nash pushed Hayes back, indicting him to shut up. 

"You shut up!" Hayes pushed Nash back in return; making me slowly raise an eyebrow up. "No you," Nash soon started to kick Hayes; the look of anger flying across the both of their faces. 

"Nash!" Hayes held his knee for a spilt second before jumped onto Nash, causing the both of them to fly to the ground. "Hayes!" Nash yelled as he tried to push Hayes off of him. 

"Shut up!" I yelled as I got off of the bed; causing them to both flinch and look at one another, then at me. "Don't tell me, okay?" I huffed as I picked up Sawyer, walking out of my bedroom leaving them behind. 

What's so secretive about it? Is it a surprise for me? Is it something that they are doing and don't want to tell me? I just don't like being left in the dark. 

But on the bright side, it's Matt's and I's one month anniversary today. Obviously we are going to celebrate it between the two of us, but I'm not the type of person to post it all over social media. And Matt feels the same way, so it works both ways. 

But talking about relationships, Sammy is back with Hope even know she cheated on him. If she does cheat again, I will never talk to her no matter what. She can't hurt my Sammy like that. 

I kissed Sawyer on the face and settled him down, breaking out of my thoughts as I reached the kitchen. I got his food out and placed it into a bowl, filling his water bowl up afterwards. As I placed his food bag back into the pantry, Skylynn came running into the kitchen squealing as she Sawyer. 

"Sawyer!" She dropped to her knees and rubbed her nose against his. "Hey cutie," I slowly got my cereal out and watched her face light up. 

"Hi Madison," Skylynn smiled showing her teeth that looked like it lost one. "You lost a tooth!" I placed the milk down as soon as I got it out. 

"Mhm," She nodded as she pulled herself up. "That means the tooth fairy is going to come tonight," I winked towards her as I poured milk into my bowl.

"Yeap, I'm going to get a trillion dollars," Skylynn giggled. "Oh Sky, that's a bit too much don't you think?" I chuckled as I placed the milk back into the fridge. 

"Nope, it's hardly anything," Her jumped up onto the stool and plonked down onto her elbows. "Okay," I laughed and sat down next to her.

Before I placed my spoon into my bowl, my phone vibrated in my pockets. I flinched a little bit then looked down, getting out my phone. I looked at my screen and slowly smiled as I saw Matt's name pop up, making me feel all jittery inside.
