Friday, two days later:

My date with Shawn yesterday was alright, I mean it was nothing special. We both had fun, but I saw it as a friends date than a date, date. I woke up at the crack of dawn and ran downstairs. I grabbed some cereal and sat in peace while I was crunching away with Milo. After I was finished, I put my spoon and bowl away and headed upstairs. Today was the big match for football, so we got to wear mufti. It had to be the teams colour, red.

I pulled out some denim shorts and a tight red top. I put some red socks on and then my black converse. I took out my French plaits, so it left my hair all nice and curly. I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and braces, then put some light makeup on. I also put a red bandana around my head, like how Taylor does. I then walked out of the bathroom and packed some red paint for later on.

I ran downstairs to quickly feed Sawyer, as he was very hungry. After feeding him, I ran back upstairs. I then sat down on my bed and got out my laptop. I switched it on and went onto YouTube. After about forty-five minutes later, Nash called me to come downstairs. I got my backpack, and phone. I left my laptop on my bed and ran downstairs.

"You ready for your big match today?" I poked Nash, once I got downstairs. "I'm nervous, but us boys will do fine," Nash pushed me out of the house.

"Hayes, when's your big match?" I got into the car, looking back at him. "Next week, Friday," Hayes smiled at me.

"The day when school finishes," I shook my head and looked forward. "Yeah," He smiled.

"So how was your date with Shawn?" Nash backed out of the driveway, slightly looking at me. "Eh," I shrugged, putting on my seatbelt.

"It was to make Matt jealous aye?" Nash chuckled, as he pulled out onto the road. "Yeah," I went all shy, as I covered up my face.

"Well he differently got jealous," Nash chuckled, making me look at him.

After around five or so minutes, we arrived at school making me feel very nervous for some reason. Jada was waiting around on the grass, so I quickly got out of my seat and made my way over to her. I nudged her once I got into her presence and headed up the steps with her, walking into the hallway of hell.

"Please tell me you don't like Shawn?" She opened up her locker, that was two away from mine. "We're just friends. It was only to make you know who jealous," I closed my locker after grabbing my English book and my binder.

"Well, well, well. Look who is it," Ella approached me. "What do you want?" I rolled my eyes and looked at her, titling my head slightly.

"For you to stay away from my man," She knocked the books out of my hands, making me gasp. "I'm not going to do that," I bent down and went to go to grab my books but Ella kicked them away down the hallway, making me slowly bring my head up and cock an eyebrow.

"Ella, stop," Jada slowly made her way over to Jada, folding her arms. "Listen. She doesn't touch my man and she doesn't get hurt," She pulled me up by my top, while talking to Jada; as a lot of people started to gather around.

I got a little shaky, and a little scared. I took a big swallow and looked at Jada, who was rolling her eyes.

"That's not going to happen," I looked at Ella and felt the courage to stare at her into the eyes.
