Tuesday, a day later:
I arrived at the school and I felt weird, empty and broken. Not being here with any of my friends feels strange, I don't like it. Hope is still here, but she hands out with other people now. I mean I could talk to her, but what she did to Sammy hurt me as well.
I walked down the hallway and felt a lot of stares being placed upon me, great. I walked over to my locker and opened it up, going straight towards my books. I picked out the books I needed and placed them into my arms, closing my locker and exhaling deeply.
"Aw someone's boyfriend and friends have gone and left this slut all alone," A horrible girls voice rang through my ears. "Ella, not today!" I gritted through my teeth.
"What are you going to do?" She laughed as she didn't know me.
I licked my teeth and slowly looked at her, glaring like there was no tomorrow. I laughed which caused her to shut up, as she furrowed her eyebrows.
"This!" I chucked my books onto the floor and punched Ella in the face.
She stumbled back and gasped, placing her hand over her eye. I laughed and before I could punch her again, someone pulled me away and slammed me up against the lockers. I kept my eyes on Ella, as she looked like she was going to cry.
"You ain't getting away with this!" Ella screamed as a lot of people now started laughing at her.
I smirked and tried to rip out of the grip, soon looking down to the person. I raised my eyebrows and felt my body loosen, as I rubbed my arms from where they were pinned up.
"Hope?" I furrowed my eyebrows. "Hello Maddie," She awkwardly said as she watched people slowly walk away.
"Um, thanks for pulling me back," I weakly smiled as I picked up my books. "No problem. If you get called into the principles office just call me and I'll make sure Ella gets into trouble," Hope said as I looked up at her.
"Okay," I brought myself up from the floor and nodded. "Let's get some makeup on your face to look like she punched you," Hope weakly smiled and twisted her body side to side.
"Uh, sure?" I furrowed my eyebrows as I didn't know how to feel.
Hope seems, different. I don't know weather it's to please me, or to get back at Sammy. But I'm going to go with it, as I have no choice. She pulled us into the bathroom and placed me against the sink, getting some makeup out of her school bag.
"So," I trailed off as she started placing it upon my face. "I love your freckles," She tried to start a conversation as it felt awkward between the two of us.
"How have you been?" I asked as I didn't know what to say. "I've been good. Just get upset at times," She said as she started to blend makeup upon my face.
"How come?" I raised an eyebrow. "I miss Sammy, so much," She sighed as she looked into my eyes.
"Well why don't you tell him?" I asked. "Because he said he hated me," She said as she started to create the bruise.
"I'm sure that, that isn't true," I frowned a bit as I knew he doesn't hate her. "I'm sure it is," She shrugged like she accepted it.
