Chapter 3: Not ok

"He stalked me the whole way." Jane whispers in my ear.

So Devin beats me up and stalks my friends. I hate him.

"Let me talk to Will and no one gets hurt." Devin says. I smirk at his boldness.

"Why? Think you can beat me this time?" I ask. God, he's an idiot.

"Nah. This time I have this." Devin is wearing this black leather jacket that he used to wear when he was in Snakes gang. He pulls away a sleeve and inside the pocket is a black pistol gun. A gun.

"Cheater." I breathe under my breath. That coward!

"You wanna talk to Will," I gesture towards the stairs. "go get him." I say.

Devin sighs and walk up the stairs. I hear a thump and two pairs of footsteps. I turn around to tell Jane that its ok but she's nowhere to be seen. Hopefully she's calling the cops, not just hiding.

Will's arm is clutched in Devin's big hand. Will has no top and is wearing his dark blue basketball shorts. The gun is pointed at Will's head.

"So ya think you can hide us?" I ask. Yup, he's stupid.

"Maddie. Your a stupid little girl. I called Snake to hide you." I curl my hands into thick fists. He called me a stupid little girl and I told him I'd break his nose. And I'll make sure I do.

Sure enough. The door is slammed on the ground and in walks Snake.

"Hey babe. You miss me?" Snake grabs my waist and tries kissing me again.

"No. I was hoping you dropped dead in an alley." I say through gritted teeth.

"Mm. Lets not be THAT way, sweetheart." Snake pulls me closer and tries to kiss my neck.

"Lets." I say. I rip away from his grip and elbow him in the face.

"Ahh!" Snake says. "Worth it though babe. Your sexy!" He slaps my butt and I lose it. I kick, elbow, and bite him. I finally get my dads buffalo statue and drop it on Snake's head. He falls on the ground, motionless. I turn to look at Devin and Will. Will's jaw is dropped open. Devin now has the gun pointed at me. Ahh crap!

"You'll wish you didn't do that." He says.

And then he pulls the trigger.
