The moment you have all been waiting for!!! =)

"Who is this?!" My grip on the phone turns harder and my knuckles are white.

The voice snickers.

"Just dropping by and seeing how your brother is."

"WHO are you?!" I yell. Nia hangs up the phone and walks toward me. He puts her ear up against the phone and listens.

"Friends of Devin's. FRESH out of jail, princess."

My face turns white. We, and by we I mean me and Will, killed Devin. Actually it was self-defense, but it never occurred to me that his friends would hear about it and try and get pay-backs.

Will. And what about mom?! Oh wait, even if she was in or out of the house would I care.

"Give the phone to Will." I say, gritting my teeth.

"So you can help him, Princess?" The guy snickers again.

"I said give the phone to Will or else." I spit.

"Oooooooh!!! I'm so scared!" He laughs and the I hear the phone being moved around.

"Maddie!" Will gasps into the phone. I sigh a breath of relief.

"Is everything alright?!"

"I can't say. But please tell me you remember." He says.

Nia looks at me confused and I almost forget she was there.

"Remember what?!" I yell at him. He's not making any sense!

"Seventy-three." Will whispers into the phone. I hear a smack on the other end.

"I said no giving her hints!" The guys voice I was talking to earlier can be heard.

Then the line goes dead and all I can hear is the dull buzz of the receiver.

I rehang the phone and sit on the bench.

"Seventy-three..." I repeat. I rack my brain. It was a code we used to have, but what was it?

"That's it!" I cry out standing back up. Nia looks relieved.

"What does it mean?" She asks.

"When I got stuck in those alleys. I would text Will 'seventy-three' meaning that I was stuck in a big fight and I'll see you later. He only used it when something was desperately wrong, like when he called me 'Maddison'. This isn't good." I plop myself back down on the bench and Nia wraps an arm around me.

"We need a plan. I can't leave Will with those creeps. I need a plan to get out of boot camp." I say to Nia.

She looks at me and laughs.

"Please! Consider it done."
