Hey guys! sorry for SUPER late update, but high school has started for me......and im currently sick which really sucks. Two nights ago I was up all night taking care of my mom because she was sick but I guess now I caught what she had.....it's all cool though! Mkay, here's the chapter!
~~~"What?" The leader looks at me, disbelief written across his face.
"You heard me!" I say loudly. Another Taliban steps forward and shoves the Leader out of the way before spitting on the ground by my feet.
"Then you will be treated like any other prisoner." He spits again. I nod my head.
"That was the plan!" I turn around and start to walk towards everyone still gathered, but I stop myself. I turn slowly on my heel to face the Taliban again. I walk over to the Taliban who killed my dad. I grit my teeth and form a fist with my right hand.
"This is for my dad!" I swing my fist and it hits him squarely in the jaw. He grips his jaw with one hand and tries to grab my neck with his other. He steps foward, but I dodge him and jab his jaw again. He screams and then the Taliban all form a dog pile on me. I hear Luci and the others yell and the next thing I know, the Taliban are all pulled off of me.
"You'll pay for this!" The Leader says and nods his head towards the exit. The Taliban follow him and then the metal door slams shut. I walk over to Luci and fist bump her and the others.
"Thanks guys! I thought I was dead there for a second." I smile, but it quickly turns to a frown. Dead like Nia. And I will be soon if I keep attacking the Taliban like that.
"We gotcha back, eh!" A guy on a cot says. I look at him closer. He's in a Army uniform, but it's so bloody and dirty you can barely see the camo on it.
"If the Taliban mess with one of us, they mess with all of us!" Luci yells and pumps her fist up in the air. Everyone cheers, but me. I'm too distracted by the metal door slamming open and a line of Taliban with machine guns walking towards us. They simultaneously pull the triggers. All I hear is the screams of everyone, as the bullets hit our skin and mow us down.
