Halle's pov

"Hey." She said back sitting up on the bed and pausing her show.

"Wanna talk?" I asked.

"Alone." She said pushing Vernon off the bed.

Derek and Vernon left and I sat down on bed with Jae.

"I overreacted." She said.

I nodded.

"Stop!" She said as we both laughed.

"But I understand why. He is now like your enemy." I said looking down.

"Yea pretty much. And yes, you can handle yourself but your in a new place. I just didn't want you to get hurt or worst while you're with me. I was trying to look out for you." She said.

"Thank you. I love you. Thank you for looking after me." I said hugging her.

She must have not expected that because she jumped when I hugged her.

Jae hugged me back and we stayed there for alittle bit.

"We chill?" I asked.

"We chill fam." She said smiling.

We got up and opened the door.

"We have come to a agreement!" She yelled through the house.

The girls clapped, and the boys hugged us.

"We knew you could do it." Vernon said to Jae.

I smiled at Derek.

"And to make to mood better, I'm inviting you guys to a party got invited to." He said.

"Derek isn't that like crashing it?" Jae asked.

"Yea that's why we're doing it." He said smiling walking away.

We all face palmed and sighed.

"When is it?" Syd asked.

"Tonight. At 9."

"Don't we have school tomorrow?" Brooklyn said getting food.

"Yea but we'll skip tomorrow. I need a break from stress." Jae said sighing.

"Trueeeee fam." Mac said laughing.

"Then it's settled. I'll pick you up at 8:45?" Derek said to me.

I nodded and let him out.

"I hope we can bring friends because I already texted Wonwoo." Syd said.

"Same I already texted DK." Mac said.

"Y'all are totally in love." Jae and I said.

We all laughed.

__Jae's pov__

"What are we gonna wear?" Brooklyn asked.

"I'm wearing my high waisted, light washed jeans with my gray shirt and my red fannel with my red converses." I said.

"That's specific." Syd said in awe.

"I'm gonna pretty much do the same." Halle said.

I smiled and nodded at her. "Nice fam!" We said doing out special hand shake.

"What time is it now?" Vernon asked.

"7:00." Brooklyn yelled from her room.

"I'll see you there. Text me the address." Vernon said kissing my forehead and leaving.

"I'll ask Derek right now." Halle said.

"And tell him he doesn't need to pick you up." Syd said.

"Yea we got a perfect working car." Mac sassed.

We laughed.

"Alright. Let's get started so we aren't late." I said.

They nodded smiling, putting all their stuff down.

"Music anyone?" Mac asked as she pulled out her huge speaker from her room and started some bomb ass music.

"READY?" I yelled at the girls as they came down the stairs.

"WE'RE RIGHT HERE YOU DON'T NEED TO YELL." Syd yelled.

"How ironic." Halle and I said.

We all got in the car and went to the address Derek sent Halle.

"This party looks legit." Mac said as we pulled up.

"I like it." Halle said in awe.

"Don't get too drunk or high. Okay?" Syd said directing it towards me and Halle.

"We'll be fine!!" We said as parked and got out.

"Wonwoo!!" Syd screamed and jumped into his arms.

"Hey Syd." He said smiling.

"Yo Mac!" DK yelled.

She smiled and hugged him.

He is so much taller than her it's not even funny.

"Hey baby." Derek said to Halle. She smiled.

"Ew!" I yelled as Vernon hugged me.

"Heyy love bug!" He said smiling and picked me up.

"I just saw you like 2 hours ago." I whined even though I enjoyed it.

"Whatever. Can you just accepted it?" He asked.

He finally put me down and we all stood together.
