Jae's pov

"What?" She asked.

"I said...YOU." I said totally pissed off.

"You really think it's just okay for you to keep talking to Kim and Derek after what happened?"

"It was one thing!" Halle said raising her voice.

"You know they do bad things Halle! You really wanna be part of that group?" I asked standing up.

"That group? There is nothing bad about them." Doing the same as me.

"I can protect myself anyways!" Halle yelled.

"Guys stop-" Brooklyn tried to say.

"No! If she wants to be part of the bad stuff they do, then be my guest." I said way done with her shit.

"I DONT NEED YOU ANYWAY!!" She finally yelled and left.

"LEAVE THEN!" I yelled back.

Everyone was looking at me.

"WHAT?" I yelled grabbing all my stuff and went to my car.

"Wait, Jae!"

I opened my car door and they got in.

Vernon, DK, S.coups, and Brooklyn.

"Jae..." DK trailed off.

"DON'T. IF SHE WANTS TO BE ON HER OWN THEN SHE CAN. I AM NOT STOPPING HER!" I yelled done with people siding her with all the time.

"I know you both didn't mean all the stuff you said." Brooklyn said.

I started my car.

"Get out." I said pointing at the doors.

"Jae-" S.coups said

"Not today S.coups." I said.

They all left expect Vernon.

"Jae baby." He said putting his hand on my thigh.

I sighed totally ready to cry.

"It's okay. Cry, baby. This is my job." He said smiling.

"Am I that readable?" I asked with tears in my eyes.

He smiled grabbing me and pulling me to his side of the car.

I turned the car off and got comfortable, ready to cry.

He rubbed my back.

"I just like lost my best friend." I said crying now.

"No you didn't. You just see things differently. You both are gonna have to come to a agreement. You wanna go home?" He said.

I nodded.

He kissed my forehead and went to the driver side.

We drove home and went to bed.

__Halle's pov__

I stomped off determined to find Derek.

'I wasn't even hanging out with Kim! Derek isn't like him!!' I thought frantically.

I finally bumped into him and told him everything.

"But I'm not like him." He said.

"I KNOWW!! THAT'S WHAT I WAS THINKING!" I said throwing my hands in the air.

"Hey but she is kinda right. I wouldn't like my best friend talk to someone that is like my enemy now." He said.

I rolled my eyes. "I don't need to ask who I can and can't hang out with. It's my life."

"Yea Kim and I don't talk anymore after last night." He said focusing on me.

"AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I SAID TO HER."

"Is it exactly?" He asked.

I shook my head slowly.

"Whatever." I said.

"So what are you gonna do?" He asked.

"I'm gonna leave her alone. Let her cool off then I'll talk to her." I said committing.

He nodded.

"Wanna get out of here?" He asked grabbing my hand without a answer and we left.

I waited until it was dark to go home.

"Thanks for letting me stay at your place for a little while." I said walking up to the front door.

I knocked twice and Mac opened it.

"She's in her room with Vernon." She said immediately.

"No suprise." I said sarcastically but I guess everyone was in a bad mood.

I walked up with Derek.

"Why is everyone staring at me?" Derek whispered.

"Probably because of last night." I said opening Jae's door.

Her and Vernon were cuddling on her bed and honestly it was cute.
