Jae's pov

"Ma'am we're landing. Ma'am..." I heard a faint voice say as I open my eyes.

'Where am i? Oh no.. JAE YOU'RE ON A PLANE!!' I thought.

"Ma'am are you okay?" The lady asked. I nodded smiling at her.

I looked out the window. Beautiful. Korea is Beautiful.

I smiled thinking, "this might be so bad. Just make friends and deal with it for the next three years."

"Thank for boarding Delta. Please enjoy your stay here in beautiful South Korea. Again thanks you. We have landed and you are safe to go."

I got up and left the plane. I got my bags and stuff.

I went to go get my 'car' for now till I get a job and pay for myself.

It was nice. It was a dark red with sliver lining. 'Dang I wonder how much this costed, Jake.'

I drove to the address for my flat. I parked in the garage and opened my door. 'I wonder how much this costed, Jake?'

It was so big. Like huge.

It was two floors with 2 bathroom and 3 bedrooms.

'When am I ever going to use those? It's not like I'm going to have like 7 people over here.'

I smiled when I saw my bed and dresser in my room. And my room I mean the master. Duh.

I liked it. I could live with this. I checked the time to see if I have time to shower and get ready for the orientation tonight.

3:53

I'm okay.

I got it a shower and felt very clean. Then I put on black jeans, a longer but not too long white shirt, a red flannel my brother gave to me and my red converses.

I put a small amount of makeup on my face. My stomach growled.

"FOOOODDDD!" I yelled out loud. Time check.

4:56

I'll have time after the orientation.

I grabbed my faded brown leather bag from one of my boxes or suitcases and put the essentials in it.

I grabbed my keys and left.

__time skip__

Good thing I left early because I got so lost, but I eventually made it.

I turned off my car and sat there for a moment.

"It's gonna be okay. Find friends. Stick with them for 3 years then leave. And get passing grades. OK let's go." I said to myself as I got out of my car and walked up to the front doors.

This. School. Was. Huge.

And I thought my flat was big. No this is big.

4 floors. Hundreds of hundreds of kids my age and older.

I really hated orientations. It's a half an hour thing get over it Jae.

I walked up to the front desk.

She said something in korean and got confused. I said, " I don't speak good korean do you speck English?" Slowly making sure she understood me.

She nodded and rolled her eyes. "First and last name?"

"Jae Maeberry."

"Oh, the American student. Very good very good. Welcome to Yoon-mae High School." She said a bowed.

'Do I do that?' I asked myself. 'It wouldn't hurt.'

I bowed also and moved to the cafeteria. I sat at the back table waiting for someone to come on the stage and say something.

My stomach was getting louder and louder by the minute.

I felt someone sit next to me.

A boy.

He set an apple down next to my arm and smiled.

I looked at him with a questioning look and went over his face and body.

Tall-ish, taller than me, silver- blue hair, narrow eyes, small lips with a oval face and a small nose.

He said something in korean and bowed.

I looked at him confused.

"You speak English?" I asked.

He laughed and nodded sitting down.

I got lost in my thoughts.
'Boy, he is cute. With his hair. His hair! The school let's him keep his hair like that? That means I can dye my hair again! The schools in Ohio were horrible. You couldn't dye your hair because they thought it was a distraction. Whatever. I-'

"Helloooo??" The boy asked waving a hand in my face.

I noticed I've been staring at him this whole time.

"I'm Mingyu and you are?"
