Chapter 3: Apologies and Nightmares

*MadelinesPOV*

After the talk with Michael I realized that these guys actually care. I know Luke only dos that because he cares and he was just being protective. Yes it hurts that he went into my stuff without permission but I still love him. I mean he's my uncle. I was writing in my journal when the was a knock on my door.

" it's open" I said watching Luke come in. I slightly smiled at him when he sat on the end of my bed.

" look Maddie, I am sorry I know I shouldn't have done that, but I only did it because I got curious and I'm sorry. You don't have to forgive me but I just want you to know that I care for you because your my niece and I love you." He said as a tear slid down my eye.

" I forgive you uncle Luke. I just don't like the fact that you went threw my stuff with out my permission, and I'm going to try and stop. And I think I'm ready to reveal my past, just promise me this, that if I tell you and the guys that you won't send me back like the last time." I said as he nodded.

" I promise" Luke said as I got up and called for the guys to come to my room.

" wassup?" Calum asked being the first to come upstairs along with the others.

" I- I am ready to reveal my past, just please don't take me back" they all nodded and sat on my bed. Michael was next to me along with dad. So I explained the past to them and when I was done everyone had tears in there eyes.

" You're n-not gonna send me back...right? I said as my lip started to tremble.

"NO!" They all yelled and tackled me into a hug.

" thank you can we go do something tomorrow?" I asked and dad nodded.

"Yes what do you want to do?" My dad nodded.

" can I have a phone?" I cracked a smile and giggled as dad nodded.

" yes just no Twitter yet."

" to late" I tossed my iPod at him and he added me on Twitter then he tossed it back.

" Okay, and we will be getting you more clothes, but you look tired so go to sleep and we will wake you up when dinners here okay?" Dad asked and I nodded.

" okay" I said laying down. Luke and Calum left kissing my forehead.

" remember our deal" Uncle Mikey said kissing my forehead as I nodded.

" good night Maddie." Dad said kissing my forehead also and leaving the room.

When they all left I laid in my bed looking at the ceiling. I thought about everything. My cutting is going to stop and I'm going to try and be a good daughter and niece. I mean they deserve it and they seem like different ppl then my old family. I just hope nothing screws it up. I sighed finally letting sleep take over into a dreamless sleep.

*Ashton's POV*
I was confused on what Michael said about a deal. So I decided to talk to him about it.

" hey Mike could I talk to you in the game room?" I asked as he nodded and we went downstairs to the game room.

"What's up?" Michael asked as I sighed.

" what deal did you make with Maddie?" I asked then it was his turn to sigh.

" the deal I made with Maddie was you stop the cutting and when you get the urge talk to one of us boys and we will listen and not send you back." He explained and I looked up at him confused. Why the hell would she think I'd send her back? He caught into my look.

" Don't worry mate, I told her you love her to much to do so. She knows you won't and why she would think that i don't know but I think that's another story to be told later when she's ready." He said and I nodded.

"Yeah I guess your right." We were walking back upstairs when Luke was screaming for me. I ran upstairs and looked at him.

"It's Maddie." He said as I darted up the stairs to a screaming 12 year old. I got in there and she was shaking and sweating while in screaming in here sleep. I ran to here side and started to shake her a little.

*Madeline's POV*
"Dad please don't make me do it. I don't want to be your slave anymore." I said with tears streaming down my face.
"Oh your not my sex slave your there's." He said pointing towards four figures. Ashton,Michael,Luke, and Calum. I was beyond scared. They all had worried looks because they didn't want me to do it but knowing my dad there's a catch.
"N-no I will not fuck my dad and uncles. That's wrong on so many levels." I said still having tears stream my face. Here comes the catch he pulled out a gun and pointed towards Ashton.
" do it or they die." I said no again and heard four bangs. I looked down as all my uncles and my dad were in the ground dead. I screamed and fell to the ground.
I felt someone shake me and I shot up relieved to see Ashton in front of me with Michael, Luke and Calum. Ashton pulled me into a life killing hug.

" Maddie what happened?" Dad asked me as I sobbed harder.

"M-my dad my real dad.... Slave.....shot you g-" I got caught off by Michael, because I was sobbing so hard I couldn't talk with out hiccuping.
" Breathe Maddie, you don't have to tell us about your nightmare till your ready." Michael said as all of us nodded.

" I- I don't want to go back to sleep can we do something?" I asked as Mikey lit up and pulled me towards the game room.

" we will see you guys tomorrow." Michael said as everyone started laughing.

" what we playing?" I asked as he handed me a controller.
"FIFA" I rolled my eyes because I should have known and we started playing he beat me the first few times but I caught on to his skills and we tied at the final game.

" how did we tie I never tie?" Michael said as I started to laugh.
" you won the last few times because I was watching your hands and caught on to your way of playing." I said and he made an "o" shape. I yawned but shook it off because I don't want another nightmare. The next thing I knew I woke up to Michael carrying me upstairs. I fell back asleep.
