Chapter 14: Family

"He said...."

*Maddie's POV*

"He said yes. He's talked to his a managers and they said he could. So welcome to the family Jordan and Kayla Styles." Dad said as Kayla and Jordan gave me and dad a hug.
"So who is Harry?" Kayla asked as Jordan answered.
"Our new dad Princess." Jordan said as she threw her hands in the air.
"No he isn't! I don't want a new daddy I want our daddy!" Kayla yelled as she ran off. Jordan called her name but she kept going.
"Jordan I'll talk to her. She doesn't know what this is." I said as he nodded. I ran up to her as she sat on a rock.
"I don't want a new daddy." Kayla said as I sighed.
"Kayla looked at me." I said softly and calmly as she looked at me. I took out my phone and put it face up. Showing us our faces. She gasped.
"She these bruises on you. Your old daddy did that. He isn't a good daddy if he hurts you. Kayla, Harry will love and treat you like the princess you are and never hurt you. Give him a chance I mean Jordan is." I said as she nodded and I carried her back to dad and Jordan.
"I'm sorry Jordo! I'll give Harry a chance." Kayla said as she hugged him. We walked to the car and Kayla fell asleep in my lap.
*skip car ride*
We got to the house and I carried Kayla inside. We walked in and it was a complete total mess. Jordan grabbed Kayla as I called the boys downstairs.
"ONE DIRECTION AND THE REST OF THE 5SOS BOYS GET YOUR BUTTS DOWNSTAIRS NOW!" I yelled as they came running down. I looked at them in a pissed off look as they all gave me apologized looks. I swear I may be thirteen but I feel like I'm the damn mother of them.
"Clean this mess up. Harry meet your kids and I'm going to go change, and I swear to god if I come downstairs and the mess is not clean you will have to deal with a pissed off girl. Do I make myself clear?" I told them as they mumbled yes. I walked up stairs and threw my phone and iPod on the Chargers. I changed into a sweatshirt and leggings and put my hair up in a messy bun. I went downstairs and everything was cleaned.good.
"Maddie!" Kayla yelled running up to me.
"Help! Daddy and Jordo are trying to get me." I nodded as I took her upstairs and grabbed my guitar. I sat on my bed along with Kayla as I started to strum.
"Cool can I try?" Kayla asked as I laughed and nodded. I sat her in my lap and sat the guitar in her lap. I put her right hand on the neck of the guitar and her other on on the base.
"Okay I'm gonna play slowly and just listen and watch my hands." This is how I learned when I was younger.
"Eddie Ate Dynamite Good Bye Eddie." I showed her as she started.
"Eddie Ate Dynamite Good Bye Eddie." She repeated as I strummed the notes.
"Now I'm going to say it and your going to play what you saw." I soda as she nodded putting her hands where they need to be.
"Eddie *strummed* Ate *strummed* Dynamite *strummed* Good *she strummed* Bye *strummed*  Eddie." I said as she strummed perfectly. Dang I wasn't this good. We heard a knock on the door.
"Come in." I said as Jordan walked in.
"Jordo!" Kayla squealed.
"Hi Princess! I heard you play. Your a natural!" Jordan said sitting in the bed.
"Thank you Jordan and thank you Maddie." She said as she left. I put my guitar on its stand as there was a comfortable silence.
"I just wanted to thank you." Jordan said.
"No need! I know what it is going threw no parents and orphanages they suck. I'm glad we caught up with each other." I said as we hugged and went downstairs.
"Hey we're ordering pizza. What kind do you want." Dad said.
"I really don't care what kind." I said as he nodded then ordered. I soar next to Michael on the clutch as Luke sat beside me. On the other couch it was Harry Zayn and Louis while Kayla sat in Harry's lap. Then on the ground in front of us was dad and Calum. Then Joran on the other side.
"I'm sooooo bored." I whined as I leaned my head in Luke's shoulder.
"We can go swimming." Louis said as we all nodded. I grabbed Kayla and walked her upstairs. Thank god I still have my little clothes....don't ask I'm weird okay? Okay.
"Here Kayla do you need help putting this in or do you have it?" She nodded saying she needed help. So I put on a one piece . It had a thin and thick strap. The top was baby blue with black poka dots. Then there is a pitch black bow in the left middle side then the rest is pitch black also. I put it in her and then braided her hair in piggy tails.
"Do you want to go in that or do you want me to put clothes over it?" I asked her.
"Leave it." She said as I nodded. I walked into the bathroom and threw in my mint green cut off bikini top and bright blue bikini bottoms. I threw a Blink tee shirt and black leggings. I put my hair up in a messy bun. I walked out of my bathroom grabbing Kayla's hand and going downstairs. Everyone was ready. I threw on my black high tops and help Kayla with her converses.
"Ready?" Dad asked as everyone said. We left and headed towards the pool. It was a public pool so I didn't plan on going in the water. I sat on a chair and started writing in my journal. Everyone was in the water except for me or at least I thought. A shadow appeared over my book causing me to look up. I saw Michael standing there.
"Hey." I said as he sat next to me.
"Come in the water." He said as I shook my head no.
"I may have showed the fans my scars but I don't need hate from adults that I don't know and them pointing me out to there kids." I said as he looked at me.
"They won't do that come in." I shook my head no again.
"Fine." He grabbed my song book and threw it in the grass behind us. I got up.
"What the heck?!" I yelled. He smirked.
"You have a choice to rather take this chance to take off you clothes and get in the water or I throw you in the water with your clothes on." He said as I rolled my eyes and took off my sweat shirt and leggings and shoes. I was adjusting my swimsuit as I felt like I was being picked up. Oh wait I am. I plugged my noses as I felt the cold air against my body then water. I swam back to the top.
"Michael Gordon Clifford!" I yelled as everyone laughed.
"At least help me out" I pouted as he sighed. He grabbed my hand as I got splashed by water when he fell in it. Everyone laughed harder.
"Madeline Marie Irwin!" He yelled mimicking me. I swam off and laughed as I saw this slut all over Jordan. He looked so uncomfortable. I acted to be pissed so I swam up to him and pulled his arm around my shoulder.
"What the hell do you think you are doing?" The slut asked as I scoffed and winked at Jordan.
"Hanging out with my boyfriend what do you think your doing? If I ever catch you looking at him, flirting with him, or talking about him I will be your worst nightmare." I said as she scoffed and swam off. Jordan took his arm off my shoulder.
"Thank you I thought I was gonna have to drown her." He said as we laughed.
"That's what families are for." I said as we swam back to everyone. But wait...
"Hey if we're all in the deep end where Kayla?" As I said that we all heard a scream. I looked over and saw someone from my old school. Jake. I swam as I fast as I could.
"Jacob Little! Leave my cousin alone! I yelled standing up because we were in the kiddie pool.
"And what if I don't?" He asked as he held Kayla up by the swimsuit. I glared at him.
"Put her down! We all know why your bothering my family. I got you expelled. I made you lose the school you wanted to go to. I made you move countries. Your the reason for it. Your taking it out on the wrong little girl." I yelled as he threw Kayla in the water, luckily Jordan got there before she could hit bottom.
"You little bitch!" He tackled me underwater. I kept kicking at him, but he held me down. I felt my eyes go heavier. My kicking stopped and all I saw was black.

*Jordan's POV*
I grabbed Kayla before she hit the bottom. I saw the guy tackle Maddie under water, a few minutes later he boned back up but only him. He got out and smirked.
"Ashton! Dad!" I yelled as I held Kayla close. The ran up to us. I gave dad Kayla.
" I'm gonna go find Maddie something happened I will explain later." They nodded as I swam to the deep end. I bobbed under water and saw Maddie. I grabbed her hand and swam back to the top. I spotted Niall.
"Niall!" I yelled getting Maddie to the top as he swam over.
"She's not breathing help me get her back to Ashton. He nodded as we each had an arm and swam back.
"Ashton." I yelled as he ran over to us and helped her out. We laid her on the ground as we all panicked.
"Does anyone know how to do CPR?" Everyone shook there head no.
"Help!" I yelled as someone ran over.
"Move I know CPR!" The girl said as she plugged Maddie's nose and kissed her getting air in her lungs.
"1...2...3..." The girl said pumping Maddie's chest. She went and did the same thing.
"1.." As she was done pumping the chest on one Maddie woke up spitting out water. Thank god!
"What happened?" Maddie asked as I explained. Also catching the guys up.
"Thank you for helping me. What's you name?" Maddie's said holding out a hand.
"Morgan. Morgan Greenlay." She said shaking Maddie's hand.
"Well I got to go hopefully I see you guys again." Morgan said walking away.
*Maddie's POV*
Damn it's cold. But after all the hugs they gave me we went home. Kayla hasn't spoken a word to any of us but was really clingy to me and Jordan.
"Kayla are you okay?" I whispered in her ear as she just shrugged. She fell asleep in mine and Jordan's lap.
*skip car ride*
We got home and I carried Kayla upstairs.
"Kayla... Wake up you need to change then you can go back to sleep." I said lightly as she woke up and nodded. I took her out of her suit and put here in a old greenday  t shirt of mine. I put yellow leggings in her. I in braided her hair and it was wavy. I brushed threw it and left it down. I tucked her into my bed and she was out like a light. I then grabbed my Blink t shirt and sweats. I walked into the bathroom and changed brushing threw my wavy hair and throwing it into a messy bun again. I went to my bed and snuggled into Kayla as I fell asleep. I felt her cuddle into me and I think I heard her murmur a "sorry". I kissed her forehead as we both fell asleep.
