Chapter 18: News and more news

*Ashton's POV*

"I'm sorry sir but Madeline....." When he said those words the world stopped. I knew it was going to be bad. "Madeline's in a coma." I broke down. Macy pulled me into a hug and I didn't let her go.
"When can we see her?" He shot me a sad smile.
"You can now. Room A 223." Doctor Thomas said.
"I know all of us want to go and see her, but I think it's best if Harry and Jordan go first considering they knew her way longer." I said as everyone agreed. I sat in a chair and Macy sat next to me. I know she's scared because she's clingy.

*Harry's POV*
I looked at Jordan when we got to the room. He shot me a sad smile and nodded. I opened the door and what I saw was shock. Maddie had and ivy and  bandages all over her arms. What the hell did Zack to do her? I sat in a chair next to her and took her hand.
"Hey baby girl. It's Harry. I know we're not close like we used to be but I need you to wake up. The second you wake up and you will we will have a cousin day to ourselves. But that can't happen if you don't wake up. Please Madeline wake up." By the time I was done tears were streaming my face. She's only 13 and she's been in so much shit that I can't even catch up. Jordan started to speak.
"Hey Mads. Remember the time when we were five and we went running around town. We went to our special spot in the woods and just talked. We should do that again next time we're in Australia again. Or the time when our moms took us to the beach and you stepped on a broken bottle how I was to the rescue and picked up and took you to what I thought was your mom but it turned out to be a stranger." We laughed a sad laugh. " we need to do those things again. Please wake up Maddie. We all need you. You may be 13 but damn you seem like your the mother of the bands. Even though that's taken by Luke's mom." We laughed a little more. We decided for it to be Macy and Ashton's turn so we both kissed her forehead and left. We got back there and Ashton and Macy left.

*Macy's POV*
When I heard those words I was in shock. My mom died of a coma. I know "didn't you have a mom in England or something" that was half mom. Anyway me and dad walked into the room. I walked into the room and I was even more devastated. Maddie had bandages on her wrists and leg. Dad started to talk.
"Hey princess. I know you haven't had the best time in your life, but I plan to fix that when you get up. Forget the past and focus on what's happening now. When you get up were finishing the tour and your y-your gonna get your own tour like your dream. At first I thought it was a really bad idea to adopt, I mean I'm only 21. But the second I saw you I knew you were the one I wanted to adopt. You went threw hell and back and your still okay. You sent this band the hell and back and were okay. Your the glue we needed to be to stay happy and have fun. You changed this band for the good. I mean I adopted another beautiful daughter and she is the same way. Both of you make me happy, but I can't be happy if I lose you. You will wake up your strong Maddie and I love you." Dad said as he grabbed her hand and kissed it then her forehead and flashed me smile. I smiled back at him.
"Hey Maddie. I know we haven't known each other for long, but you are the best sister I could ever ask for. I need you. Your there for me threw thick and think as well as I am you. We haven't hung out a whole lot to get memories started but the second you wake up we will. I love you and can't lose you. Like I said your the sister I always wanted but never got. Your the sister who holds me together I don't deserve you but I'm most certainly sure I'm glad to have you. Please wake up." I said as tears ran a rice down my face. I looked at dad and he patted his lap with the free hand as I sat on his lap and leaned my head against his chest. Please wake up Maddie. We left and sat down.

*Madeline's POV*
It went white again but this time there was no voice. No mom telling me to go back. Do I get a choice this time. I sighed.
"Mom? If you can hear me please help me. I wanna go back but I don't know if I have a choice." I said sighed as I walked towards the light knowing I don't have a choice this time. Goodbye my fearing family. I stepped into it and memories flashed all around from when I was a baby to the last time I was happy. I heard a voice.
"Madeline we can have a cousin day you need to wake up." Harry?
"Remember the time you stepped on a bottle and I came to the rescue and sent you to well what I thought was your mom but turns out it was a stranger?" Jordan?
"Hey princess I know you haven't had the best past but don't focus on the past focus on what's happening now." Dad?
"Hey Maddie I know we haven't hung out enough to make memories but when you do we will." Macy?
All these people care. I know I was family but I didn't expect them to be begging me.
"Maddie go back. You just got out of a life or death situation don't walk back into another one." Mom?
"Mom?"
"Yes baby. Go back please. You know I'd want you too be happy and alive and you have been. Ignore the shit that went on and focus on now. Like Ashton said. Go back baby." Everything went black when I nodded yes.
*Ashton's POV*
The doctor came out with a frown. Oh no.......
"I'm sorry sir, but if she doesn't wake up soon we have to pull the plug." I nodded not trusting my voice. Madeline please wake up. I looked at Macy and she was asleep on Luke's shoulder. I sighed and walked into Madeline's room. I sat into the chair next to her and grabbed her hand.

*Madeline's POV*
I felt someone grab my hand.
"Baby please wake up. I-if you don't they will pull the plug. Baby we need you. Your strong,brave, please baby." Dad started as I tried to move anything but nothing budged so I gave up. "Please try to move talk anything. Give me a sign that your still here." He said as I tried again the only thing I could to was groan. WAIT I GROANED!

*Ashton's POV*
I heard a groan. Wait a groaned?
"Maddie do that again. Try try as hard as you can." The next thing scared me. The beeping stopped. I couldn't feel I went numb. I was shocked. But then it started again but super fast. I ran as fast as I could to a doctor.
"Maddie she.....room A 223...... Beeping stopped but then sped super fast." I said as the doctor ran to the room. We got there and it's like it was all in my head.
"I swear that's what I saw." I said in disbelief and shook his and went to walk away. I until we both heard a faint 'dad'. I turned around and her eyes were open looking at me.
"Maddie!" I yelled hugging her lightly.
"Hi ms. Irwin. I'm your doctor mr. Klein. How you feeling?" He asked.
"Everything hurts. I've got a question though?" He nodded.
"Who are they?" She pointed to all the 5sos and 1D boys along with Jordan, Macy, and Kayla.
"Your family." I answered as she looked at me.
"Who are you?" My heart shattered.
"Sir I'm gonna need you to leave so that way I can give Maddie some questions." Doctor Klein said. I nodded and we all left. No one spoke a word. Doctor Klein came out.
"Sir she has amnesia. And it's severe. It might even come back." My world stopped.
